I am verry interested to see if he is going to decide this weekend. I have heard conflicting reports on this. We shall see. Mick believes we are the leader is what I had heard.

With Deonte Burton visiting this weekend, it would be great if Teague commits and this spurs Burton to pull the trigger. Nothing wrong with dreaming, I guess.

Well, as most of you know Teague has scheduled to announce at the Boo Williams tournament that I'll be at this coming weekend. It's the first event of the spring bball sessions and it's one of my favorite Nike events.

While most seem to think it's going to end up being UofL, those close to the UK program don't think it's a total lock. He wasn't able to get down for another visit, but those around UK don't think that's a big deal. They feel like they've made good headway with Teague.

Still, I think the timing has to favor UofL. Rick just signed the "Teague extension" and it seems the main negative that Rick might not be there is now satisfied in some measure.

So, I think it's going to be UofL, as they have always been seen as the leader.... but I think UK made them pucker up a bit more than some think. There is still recruiting going on, so expect him to be a Card, but don't be amazed if he "shocks the world"

Also, this is the third announcement he's scheduled, so I also wouldn't be amazed if it got rescheduled again.

FWIW, this guy has an exceptionally douchey haircut. I wouldn't trust anything he says....

the consensus i have drawn on maggard from uk fans i am friends with is that he is pretty hit or miss. sometimes he appears to be "in the know", sometimes is is 500 miles off base with his comments. moral of the story- they don't even trust what comes out of his mouth.

I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of his hair.

Apparently some analyst over on Scout is reporting Teague will NOT be deciding this weekend... like wise, Jerry Meyer of Rivals is apparently reporting there are "whispers" that Kentucky is now the leader for Teague.

We Shall See.
