I agree with Jeff that this team is going to be very good next year regardless of how recruiting shapes out. I think our personnel fits the type of style we want to play even better with additions of Shaq, Oct, and Titus. We will be scary long. I mean like Syracuse long on the back end. Imagine the 3,4, and 5 spots being taken by Jackson, Ellis, and Shaq. You could insert Titus, Kelvin, and possibly Obekpa in those spots as well. Obviously not discounting that our 3 veteran guards will be getting a huge chunk of the minutes but it will be fun to see all the athleticism out there. What did we do to win games this year? Get 40 deflections and take care of the ball. 3 veteran guards to take care of the ball and that kind of size and length behind them to get deflections (Not to mention cash set the school record this year for steals) I am super excited about next years bearcats.

Sorry the way that read looked like I implied Jackson would play the 3. In my scenario that I gave I would have Shaq at the 3 and the other 2 at the 4 and 5.

I had "people" that I discussed where I was going to go to college with before I made my decision. This is the norm.

Don't know. I am not saying his people are mom, dad, etc. Just was saying that everyone has people that they discuss a major decision like this with. If his parents are not in the US then you can bet he has a guardian who helps advise him and looks out for his best interests.

I think he meant because SJU won't be making the tourney next year lol I would say they have the same chances as UCONN to make the tourney.
IMO there are few reasons why Obekpa would choose SJU over UC, the main one being playing time. Other than that UC is better by far.
