Actually a few coaches have earned a bad rep in my books. Any coach from Ohio State, Coach Cal, Lavin, Calhoun, Tennesse Coaches, etc. So when they are involved I feel it is okay to scream foul play. Mick and UC have been pretty clean in regards to these things and I hope it stays that way. I just want a clean program that is competitive. If we happen to put it all together one year and win a championship in basketball or football then that will be icing on the cake. If they have a bad year once in a while as well then I can live with that too as long as they are clean. I want teams I can be proud of on and off the court.
I've had winning with problem players and a coach I did not respect off the court. I didn't like that. Puts a bad image on the University. Even though the Xavier Brawl was ugly I thought in the end it put a postitive light on Mick and the University the way he handled it. Something I could be proud of.
Now come on Chris. This decision is really easy. Just pick UC dude. Why are you over thinking this? Lots of playing time, good team around you, the system you fit into and a great young coach. Good night what more do you want.
The only excuse I will take at this point is that you are still trying to figure out your major in college and then what schools have that major. Since chances are you will switch your major just pick one and come on down to UC. If the first one doesn't work out then we have lots of other ones that you can choose from.
Side Note: So I went looking to find out what the most popular majors were for baskeball players to finish my paragraph and came across this first.
"And if you go to Cincinnati, you apparently don't have to major in anything at all—according to the player bios on the Bearcats' Web site, five out of eight upperclassmen have not yet decided on a major." http://www.slate.com/articles/sport..._you_sports_management_or_communications.html
Doesn't get any easier then that Chris.
