I'd definitely take another Ruben Patterson. Sounds like his skill set fits in perfectly for what this team is missing/needing.

Jeff, I'll warn you now if he doesn't turn out to be as good as Ruben Patterson a few on here will bring this quote up in a few years and call you out for it.:D

Comparison and saying he will be as good are two different things....lol Just saying ther skill set is a good comparison.

Southern Miss, UConn, and Cincinnati all offered him according to his older brother. He said Nebraska, DePaul, and Marquette also inquired.

Its weird how UC fans can't accept the kid at his own words when he said he fell in love with UC when he first came here but wanted to take his time to make a decision because it was so far away from his family.

Titus has had an offer for awhile. He finally decided to commit even though he has been leaning this way strong since his visit.

I wasn't aware of his earlier comments regarding family. I am just curious what sparked the decision now rather than two weeks ago or in April. Sweet 16 maybe?

he said their recent wins had nothing to do with it. Savino and relationship to players were the deciding factors and Cincy reminded him of Dallas.

this may have been posted already but heres his teams highlights pretty sure this is like 3 years ago to [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpyfjOgWW2I[/ame] White team i want to say 15

Titus is the type of player every team needs. He goes full speed all the time and loves to pass and rebound. He needs to become a more consistent outside shooter but he is a slasher. He also needs to slow down with the ball on offense and not force things.

Earlier in this forum I said he was comparable to Rueben Patterson and Mick recently said the same thing. He will hit foul shots over 70% of the time too. He will fit in nicely to the new Bearcat system and be a solid player from the time he arrives by rebounding and hustling on defense. He is a good pick up for the Bearcats. He may not be a superstar but he will be a solid contributor.

Jeff, It seems like our frontcourt is getting a bit crowded with JJ, Rubles, Mbodj, Gaines, and Ellis (and maybe even Obekpa).

With Rubles and no Obekpa, who do you think starts at 4 & 5 next year?

Not really sure how you can tell anything from that video. Would like to see other videos of Titus if there are any.

Yeah, it's pretty terrible. It does show him giving up on getting back on a fast break as well as letting a guy take the ball up to the rim without contesting...then again, maybe he was in foul trouble.

I just thought it was funny to have a video posted showing him giving up on some plays right after being said he never gives up on plays. Just messing around.

From all I've heard I'm looking forward to seeing this kid on the court for UC.

C - Mbodji/Obekpa
PF -Jackson

Mbodji and Jackson will have the opportunity to win the positions. You'll see combinations where Jackson, Thomas and Rubles are all on the floor together with Cash and Killa. I love the athleticism of that line up.

Per Rothstein: Titus Rubles will give the bearcats a new athletic dimension. Cincinnati can have a small, fast lineup with him in it.

I think rubles has been partially forgotten with the obekpa recruitment. I think he will surprise some people and be solid the next couple years. Nice to see him get some love from an outside source.

Word is Titus Rubles continues to impress for Cincinnati. Combo forward is perfect fit for Bearcats. Will close games regularly in 12-13.
