Why would the bearcatlair people care what is posted on an unrelated website? I don't look at these names and expect us to get them. Most of the potential recruits we look at, don't actually come here.
Still don't feel like paying for info... Sorry.

I think one of the main arguments is because a "paysite" can become a "secret source" on a free site. Paysites don't like people divulging the info...but I'm not sure how they can police that.

I don't see this as a quality of source issue. A paysite would look better if they always had the best quality and most reliable information...becuase those that always post every rumor that comes along end up being unreliable. In other words a paysite should want good info on their site and bad info on others IMO.

In the end I think we all know even a GREAT source can end up being wrong and to take a lot of this with a grain of salt. The stronger the rumor and the more coroboration from multiple sources is when it's time to take more notice. Other than that is seems like interesting rumors (verified or not) and fun speculation.

It's all apreciated IMO.

for instance right now it seems as though we want Obepka pretty bad. I think that is a strong possibility. That could change tomorrow if we or Obepka back off for one reason or another...and there are plenty of reasons why that could happen.

Which could then make one of these other guys like Rubles or Mitchell or Bail target #1.

It's embarrassing to read how Chad Brendal would come on this site and act so childish. Totally turns me off to his site. No wonder so many people are flocking to this site.

They're even citing this site as a source on the ncaabbs.com site with recruiting updates.

If you prefer made up information and childish editing of info out of posts in favor of unfunny "jokes" I think you are in the right spot.

It would help if recruiting threads were based on guys UC was actually recruiting as well.
