FWIW:
Last week Theo Pinson, #1 player in NC, was playing in a game and Jeff Borzello was tweeting about him. I asked him who had better all around game Pinson and Clark.
His response was, "Who is Clark."
Once I told him he said, "Pinson, easily."
I then asked if Clark played against good competition, he said, "No clue, I just know Pinson is better than him."
Think it is the case that he may not be scouted as heavily as the top players even though he is a top player.
I'm pretty sure no one on here has seen all the 99 people ahead of Clark or the majority of players that aren't ranked as high as him so all we can really do is hope he rises in the ranks to create some pub but also to take them with a grain of salt. To sit here and say he should be ranked higher without seeing the others play is silly. Same goes for Borzello.
While I haven't seen all of them, I have seen a large majority. Clark belongs somewhere between 40-60 based on the PFs that are ranked in that range across the four main services. Pinson is the better prospect, but Clark isn't that far behind...
It's sometimes suggested that politics and what teams are involved in the recruiting process can impact and shape the rankings. From your perspective, do you see that happening?
Not really. While he finished with a big name program, he didn't join them until the final AAU season so he had a lot of ground to make up on the national radar in a short period of time. Getting to four star status is strong, I just think he should have been a good deal higher based on the PFs ahead of him...

Super excited to get this kid. Does anyone know the level of competition he's playing against?
