I think Shaq was a lot like him in high school, at least from an athletic ability.

I can see that, I think clark is a little bigger and more physical tho. I like the toughness in this kid getting 18 boards and 10 blocks. Going to be a great player, he will have to improve his perimeter game a bit as he won't be bigger and so much more athletic than everyone else. But I expect an instant impact from this guy, real excited

Justin Byerly ‏@Justinbyerly: Cincy signee Gary Clark had 15 points, 17 rebounds & 8 blocks for Clayton HS in a win. @Gary11_Clark

Just the kind of kid we need to keep bringing in. I think he will contribute right away and he appears to have leadership qualities every team needs. Very excited about Gary Clark in a UC uniform.

Completely agree. He does have to get stronger but once he does, he will be a beast. Also seems like a humble kid in the mold of SK. Add Quadri Moore and Corey DeBerry to the returning players, and we have soem exciting times ahead!

Gary Clark on 1530 right now on Mo Egger's show (Mo not hosting). He sounds very well spoken, I'm impressed. Has elite 8 tourney game tonight, and if they win play in the final 4 tomorrow night.

He said when he was being recruited he was embarrassed to have to tell coaches his grades weren't up to par, so he worked hard on his grades and he's on the honor roll now

Glad Cincy is playing well this year, likes the exposure they're getting and he's excited to play for a great organization like UC.

Glad he's already committed and doesn't have to deal with coaches trying to recruit him.

Likes how Bearcats play intense every play and if they're not intense on the floor Cronin is intense on the bench

Thinks he can be an intense defensive player, he's the back end of a trapping D on his high school team

Thinks rebounding and getting out in transition are the best parts of his game.

Answered 'yes sir' several times. Glad to have him coming to Clifton next year

Have to listen to the podcast.

Gary's season came to a heartbreaking end tonight. His Clayton Comets lost 77-75 in OT. Gary put on a show as usual scoring 36 points and grabbing 19 boards. Next stop........ The Queen City.

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and sounds like he's already in Bearcat mode talking about defense and intensity.

Obviously athleticism is off the charts for Gary, but love to see him passing, and the fundamentals, when he dribbles, he gets low and attacks. Damn, this guy makes me excited for the future.

Nice find. Great footage of him and first impression is he is smoooooth. He seems like a great zone buster. Really really excited for him.
Definitely looks good when catching it at the free throw line. Excited about this kid for sure!

Ha I was just going to say that as I watched more of it. It looks like he is most comfortable getting the ball at the FT line and making a move to the basket. That is something we desperately need. He is also solid in transition for a guy his size. Good stuff

That block he pinned off the backboard then took it the length of the court for a layup was nice!
