I think Seton Hall knew that Moore was leaning towards Cincinnati and they went with there back up plan before they ended up with nothing also I agree I think this means Moore will commit to Cincinnati within the next 3 weeks.

Delgado a backup plan? You're kidding, I hope. That dude is a top 55 player. Last I checked Moore is barely in the top 100.

Yeah, Delgado is ranked ahead of Moore in every list I've seen. I agree though that this might mean Moore is going to commit to UC soon.

I see what your saying about the rankings but I could care less who is ranked what take Kilpatrick for instance he was not rated very high coming out of high school and he is one of the best sg in the country now and ill bet you Moore turns out better at Cincinnati than Delgado does at Seton Hall.

When I watch the highlights of Moore, I think he will be a 4. He just doesn't look fast enough to be a 3. 4 would be perfect for him, he could step out and hit jumpers, he would be quick enough to blow by another team's 4, he could still have the inside presence he displayed in his highlight tape.

Thats a given because Delgado chose Seton Hall.... I mean SETON HALL! seriously...

According to my guy, "Quadri Moore to UC is done...probably a mid to late Sept commitment..." Not reporting it...just passing along.

Things are all good in the Bearcat world.

I have heard essentially the same thing, but nothing is done till it's done. I'll still be shocked if Moore plays anything other than a stretch 4 at least initially. He could play the 3 against certain match ups, but he will not at this point be able to guard quick athletic wings. However, Lawrence can slide to the three and Moore, Lawrence and Thomas aren't too bad a 3/4 combination is it?

How about 2014 lineup of

Caupain
Terrell
Thomas
Lawrence
Moore

OR

Caupain
Thomas
Lawrence
Moore
Deberry

Now those 2 lineups are scary good

Don't forget Morman and KJ in that mix at the wing positions. Morman with his athleticism could play 2/3. KJ is better than people think. The length Mick is building is scarey and he is signing legit basketball players now.

What do you think of Davis you think he has chance to start at sg in 2014 or will he get buried on the bench?

JD3 is the guy I am most interested in seeing this season. I feel he can really improve if moved to the 2. I'm excited to see where he is and it's been reported, and I've been told, he has had a really good offseason. How that translates in November and the rest of the season we will see. Imo, he and Guyn have the most to lose. I love the incoming guards, but then again I loved Sanders. Although in my defense I think Sanders should play the three and not the two LOL!

Whatever, I'm excited about the 3 guards and I'm excited to see JD3 this season and think he has potential to be an X factor for UC off the bench. If the Bearcats could get a regular 7-8 ppg off the bench from Davis that would be huge.

UC is going to have to make up Wrights points among 2-3 players. I know Kilpatrick will score. in double digits. I'm pretty sure Thomas is going to score double digits. But there has to be a another guy, or 2-3 guys individually on a given night, that consistently gives UC double digits.

I believe Rubles is one of those guys. We need 2 more consistent scorers to step up and I think Davis has that potential as well as Lawrence and Sanders. Again on a given night. If we get something out of another frosh and anything out of the post, this could be a better offensive team than last seasons.

The key to me is can a pg emerge who can get in the lane and will the wings fire 3's or attack. Lot's of ifs but I have the same gut feeling about this team I had about the Sweet 16 team. I think they're going to be better than they appear on paper. Certainly not predicting a Sweet 16, but I do think they will be very good.

Biggest difference between this team and the Sweet 16 team is the center spot. No comparison between Yancy and Big Dave/Jackson. I also think that was the biggest difference for last year's team. It was great having a big man that could put up serious points and not just be there to block a few shots

I wasn't comparing the roster. Just commenting that I had a gut feeling about that team and was ridiculed for saying it would win more than the previous seasons team

I have the same feeling about this upcoming season. That team lost Vaughn and Stephenson. This one lost Cash and Parker but I believe this seasons team will be better than last.
