Quadri Moore, Class of 2014 power forward of Linden High School (NJ), cut his list of schools to four this past month. The schools that remain on his list are Cincinnati, Temple, Miami, and Seton Hall. He is a force in the post and can step it out shoot around the perimeter. GiveNGoBasketball.com got the chance to talk to Moore about his list of schools, his game, and much more.
He found that after the live period it would be the best time for him to announce his final four schools. "There isn't really one specific reason why I cut it down now," he said. "I already knew what schools I wanted to keep on my list. I just wanted to wait until the live period ended to announce it."
Moore sees a lot in the schools that remain on his list. "Well, all of the schools are good programs and have great school history with their alumni," said Moore. "They're all hungry for a national championship and have a good chance getting one."
He believes that he will pick a school before the high school season starts. The class of 2014 forward knows what his decision will based off of when he picks a school. "Where I feel as though I will fit in the best, not only on the team but also in the classroom," he told GNGB. "I also am looking at each school's campus life."
He also described his game for GiveNGoBasketball.com. "I am basically a stretch four but, I'm working on my athleticism and trying to become a better ball handler so I could also play the three on the college level," Moore said.
He told GNGB what he plans to do with his visits in the future. "I don't have any set dates as of now but, I have already gone on unofficial visits to Seton Hall and Temple multiple times, so I have a good idea of what there campuses look like," said Moore. "I will still most likely take officials to all of the schools on my list."
Quadri Moore will bring a lot to a team on the next level. He looks to bring his scoring ability and more to a program. "I think on the next level I will bring the ability to just score when needed to," said the class of 2014 power forward. "I am also going to be a solid defender because I can guard both the four and five spot. I can guard the three spot now because I've been working on moving my feet and I am becoming faster."
Moore has a very high ceiling. He is determined to reach his full potential and make a big impact on the next level.
