This will be Brooks first full off season (strength) workouts as he missed last year finishing up his online class. His stamina is not a problem, so if he can add some strength this off season I have some high hopes for him

He really looked better as the season went on. He doesn't have bad touch and hopefully he can pick up a little from Washington and Clark or other past bigs. Washington has a very good hook shot and it's lightning quick. Clark can back a man down and position himself for his go to shot. I would like to see Brooks developing that Fortson drop step or even the DeBerry finger roll (with his long arms). He has some options he can work on.

I hope he's working on his moves along with positioning...he fouled a lot. He will certainly be serviceable but I would like to see him become a force. With his frame he should be able to move some bodies out of his way and he's athletic enough to move around and protect the rim.

Without knowing who our next recruit will be at the 4 or 5 spot...I could see Brooks and Diarra becoming starters out of the current batch of youngsters. Nsoseme might be a little raw at this point and Scott is going to need to find his scoring niche. If Brooks and Nsoseme are going to man the post I would prefer Scott work on ball skills, slashing, and shooting.

I think Scott will have to battle Diarra for that "stretch 4" type role. That will require at least a little slashing or shooting ability. Not sure either of them are set up for back to the basket stuff. Scott doesn't have bad touch but his arc is as bad as Thomas and that limits his shooting % to a certain degree. From video it looks like Diarra has a decent outside shot and slashing ability.

"Hearing that it's very possible that @Mamoudou_d11 may start as a true freshman this year for Cincinnati. Jen Cohen must resign. Blunder!!!!"

I know it means nothing, but it's good to hear that from someone outside of Cincinnati.

I dont see how thats possible. Clark redshirting? lol

I agree...

Broome, Cumberland, Evans, Clark, Washington.

The only thing that I can think of is maybe since Clark was out this summer with the ankle/foot issue, it made it seem like Mamoudou was going to get more minutes??? LOL no idea.

I hope he is good enough to have this debate but this might be the dumbest tweet in a while. The guy that sent the tweet has 600 followers.

The only way Diarra starts I think is if Clark is injured.

Otherwise, the best we can get is quality bench minutes which is what this team will need.

That guy clearly knows nothing about UC. Which is fine.

Diarra sounds like a good pro prospect. Really excited to see how he'll do as an upperclassman when he's completely unleashed in our system.
