Hopefully Grand Canyon and Albany. I think those other teams are really bad.

One of the positives of getting into the event with Duke; we should play better mid-majors instead of the two 300+ RPI teams we played as a part of the Barclay's Classic. Knowing our luck, we'll get stuck with the other two though...LOL

Just looked at eggs returning players next year. How is davis only a junior!? Surprised the **** outta me. Theyll be really good next year again with reynolds bluitt sumner davis and macura

Same with Reynolds. Not only is he a straight punk. I feel like he is old. Hate that guy

I think Reynolds will use the new rule of attending the combine and if no interest is shown, return to Eggsvier. Same with Sumner. And yes, they will most likely be very good again.

I'd say his sideline demeanor, he rarely called timeouts, and he expressed several times how badly he wanted his players to get more individual recognition but they'd have to go out and get it on the court. Last year seemed more like a constant in-game instructional on how to play basketball. I still didn't love the pace but there seemed to be more freedom for the players. In the past guys would screw up and immediately look at the sideline. I feel like I saw a lot less of that this year.

I would love for Cumberland to start from day 1. I love that Johnson is a guy who defends and bleeds red and black, but we'll need Cumberland to be a bucket getter for us. Johnson has had 26 games the last 2 years scoring 4 or less. That's not going to get it done as a starter at UC. If we want to be big time, we have to act the part. Can't start guys just bc they are upperclasdmen. We've seen that not work out each of the past few seasons. Thomas had 42 games from SO-SR year scoring 4 or less, despite making 79 starts. But he was automatically handed the job over Evans simply bc he had been at UC longer. Starting players who are clearly inferior for seniority purposes is no way to operate. At the end of next season, we will need Cumberland to be an option for us. So that should start immediately. Anything else is just a waste of time.

I agree Jake I like KJ and his energy off the bench. As long as Cumberland defends I don't see why he couldn't start, offensively he is extremely gifted. The thought of our offensive potential at the guard spot with Troy, Evans and Cumberland makes me grin a bit! Ha

What if he can't guard a folding chair? How about if he gives up 2 baskets to everyone he scores. To say a guy should start that we haven't seen play a minute of D-1 basketball is a little premature. If he makes the same kind of progress Evans made I will be extremely happy. If he does start in place of KJ I will be thrilled to death. Time will tell.

Throw him into the deep end baby! We'll be up 50 on the scrub teams we play at the beginning of the year, let him take his lumps. Even if that means missing his assignment on defense every now and again.

Could really be something. Evans might make a big leap. He's a shot maker extrordinaire.

if he gives us what Evans did I.ll be ecstatic.
