If it's Johnson 27.5 to Cumberland 15, I think my head will explode. Johnson plays hard and he cares. Can't take that away from him. Cumberland just looks like a guy who needs to be on the floor though imo.

I would love to see Cumberland more. He will have to make up for his D on offense because KJ really is a good defender. Maybe Cumberland can produce more steals, blocks, and rebounds too.

kJ stays in front of the ball and moves through picks best on the team.

My worry with anyone who averages over 32 for a course of a season gets really bogged down - IE Caupain the last couple years. It really takes its toll come late conference season into the tournament.

I'd like to see the below:

Caupain - 32
Evans - 32
Clark - 28
Washington - 24
KJ - 25
Jenifer - 15
Cumberland - 15
Quadri - 15
Tre Scott - 8
Brooks - 6

My predictions were in games that matter. Hopefully he gets rested in the easy ones. I also don't see more than 3 bigs getting significant minutes in big games outside of significant foul trouble. That will leave our 5th big on the bench.

Nysier will clearly be matchup dependent, similar and more extreme than Deberry was the last two years. He won't register in several games, I'll admit that.

The Center position just scares me more than anything. Fear Washington's foul issues and the bench isn't there. I like Scott a lot, but obviously at the 4.

In terms of True center , the only one we have is brooks.. but a lot teams lack and true center and have success

We can move Gary over if Scott comes in for Washington. Gary is probably our best post player... maybe on both ends.

Thats interesting shooting statistics considering the margins are extreme.

TC always seem to regress in FG% in march, or thats the way it seems just watching and not looking at stats. My hope/thought was if JJ can play above 10mpg and really spell him, that he's ready to be the guy we saw against UConn all year long.

I looked up KJ's 3 PT FG% split last year....22% away from home, 36% at home. Interesting.

TC's shooting got considerably better late in the season. His 3 pt. shooting was in the 20s and overall shooting in the low 30s going into February and both numbers got quite a bit better by the end.

If you go back and look at Troy's play in the closer games vs blowouts last year I think you will see why he's all conference. He does things for the team when nobody else will and doesn't go MIA when other players get a little shy in close games. Obviously there will be some exceptions but average out his best games... most of them were big or close games.

I don't think his lower totals in blowouts was a lack of interest either. I think he's trying to get the team involved. In big games last year he was always option A. Hopefully we will have Evans and Clark take some of that load this year.

Not to get off topic but my oldest daughter is getting married today in Atlanta. For any fathers out there who have daughters, have them elope. Lol!! Just kidding she is a great kid who stole my heart the first time I laid eyes on her. Weddings are costly but worth it to see her happy. I did mention to her that if she ever comes to me and says, Daddy this isn't working out for me he dies first. Lol!!!

Seriously guys, this year I have seen my first grandson born, had a sibling pass away and now my oldest daughter will be married. Enjoy the cats but embrace the things that really matter.

Great post and terrific news about your daughter Waite! We all only get to go around one time, so make the most of it.

May God bless you and your family!

My only daughter was married 4 years ago and the best advice I received was having two drinks before my speech at the reception. Most emotional speech of my life and barely kept it together.

Thanks Coverly!!! I will certainly take that under advisement. I am very nervous about giving that speech.
