Don't think the American Conference's twitter has included UC is any tweets in the last 24-36 hours, too.

Preston Johnson from WagerTalk.com was on The LV SportsLine today and they asked him for teams he liked for Over bets on the season win totals. The first thing he said was UC. He said he actually max bet it twice when it was at 6.5. he has us projected at 8.81 wins and said the +235 bet to win our division is one of his favorites as well.

Tommy said today that with Boone and Green that the offense is gonna be a "run first" offense. With the past few years relying heavily on passing, do you see this as a good thing? It will slow the play down, and give our defense time to breathe, but how effective will the run game be?

If you count on a win over UT-Martin and Miami, you'd have to come up with 5 wins in the remaining 10 games. I think at least 5-5 is good bet. As far as value, it's probably a safe bet for the over.

I like it. I want to see Boone aka LiL Wayne way more. I also want to see way less qb runs. I'm tired of seeing our QB's act like they are rb's and end up getting hurt.

I also think that this will help us not turn the ball over so often. When all you do is throw bombs, you are more likely to get a ton of interceptions. Hopefully Boone and Green can hold onto the ball.

All depends on if the O-line can block. I'd love to see our offense eat the clock and keep the defense off the field. Got to be able to pick up yards on first down and can't keep committing penalties every drive and put yourself in long yardage situations.

Not sure how this year is going to go. I always take things with a grain of salt but Mo E. On twitter was slightly bashing UC football after observing some practices at Higher Ground recently.
He basically said, he felt defense is way ahead of the offense...(hard to believe since our D was horrendous last year)
Also said after watching UC and Bengals practice you can see clear differences. Now obviously the talent level and all is different but I think that was a jab at our coaches being too passive. I could see UC's practice lacking intensity and physicality. It's how we have played since TT took over.

Also, TT recently said he has been very disappointed with our offense the past few days. I know we have a new OC, that's a concern. I think its the whole 3 headed QB race is stupid too. They will drag that out til the first game.

All in all, I wanna see some real football being played this year. The past few years have been brutal.

Put me in the camp that wants Mike Boone to get the most touches on the team. He's a Touchdown machine. I love watching him play. I know his pass blocking has been called into question in the past, so maybe bc of that and the new OC, we are talking about trying to put more of an emphasis on the rushing attack. Feed Boone!

I Like Boone as well but he has to improve the blitz pick up. He can run for a 100 a game but if he doesn't pick up a blitz and gets my QB killed It won't mean much.

Boone won't even start over green

QUARTERBACK

Why the delay? If they are all about equal, you still have to go with Kiel. If Kiel is going to be punished for injuries etc., they should have cut him loose. You can't have Kiel walking around with a clipboard. TT should not drag this out--I understand what he is trying to do, but let's get on with it. New offense so give your QB most of the reps. Experience, stats says Kiel. Quit dillying around.
