Iowa St. they have made me a lot of money this year, damn that team can score the ball. I've also been betting against L'ville alot this season with some nice success.

Have a safe trip, to say I'm jealous is quite an understatement.

Really jealous! I am a pretty avid sports better and am pretty successful. My main two sports I only bet on are college basketball and baseball. You have to bet big to win any kind of money. In college basketball, sometimes I like to bet on the 2nd half spread only. I like to watch the first half and see how the game is going to get a better feel if I am ever questioning the entire game spread. I also never bet on UC because they are highly unpredictable. Have fun!

Lucky Dog, I wish I was on my way to Vegas, Good Luck. Not to be a Debbie Downer on here, But I'd bet Uconn on Fri., just because of the more desperate team factor, not to mention it's on UConn's home floor. Again, best of luck to you in Vegas. On a horse racing note. The Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park on Sat. will feature American Pharaoh who will be 2-5 odds, but is a mortal lock to win, play him in some rolling pick 3 's and 4's. Good Luck!

My advice: bet against UC - if they win, losing the cash won't feel so bad
If they lose, hey, at least you made some money 😜

Thanks for the well wishes and advice! I'm not a big better, so I would've stuck with the boring old 2 team money line parlays. No way I'll be able to lay off of UC though. By Friday night at tip I'll have myself talked into a 20 point beat down of whoever we play.

You better bet with your head, and NOT your heart if you want to win money on the cats. UCONN is basically at home, and a more desperate team, they will cover and win against uc, and money is money, my friend.

Temple AAC Tour Champ.

I really wanna put some money of who will win the AAC tourney, some good money to be made. If I put $100 on UConn I'm winning $450. Hmmmmm or should I go with a more safe bet of SMU, $100 only gets $150 on that. Or should I go with our Bearcats, $100 gets me $300. Choices..

Go with Temple....they have the best coach.

I know there are a lot of people saying they aren't scared of UConn. I don't think being scared is the best word but I think it's about as bad of a draw you can get for a #6 seed. Just to put it in perspective they only lost twice at home all year in conference (78% winning %). If we drew them and played them in any other venue I wouldn't be as worried. Of course they have to get through USF first but needing the tourney win to get in the dance and playing in front of the home crowd is the best scenario for them.

I would rather play every other team in the conference on the neutral site than draw UConn at home. It's just a horrible draw...but that's just what we need to show how tough we can be before the dance!

As I sit and watch the Houston/Tulane game and look at the second dismal crowd I begin to wonder. I think having this tournament in Hartford is completely dumb. Its probably the worst location geographically for fans to attend. Least at Memphis is was semi centrally located. Do you think fans from Florida, Ohio, Louisana, Tennessee, and Texas want to travel to Hartford, CT? No.
I know its the first rounds but there was literally under 1000 people for these first two games. How does the AAC benefit from having this event in Hartford?
