Tulane matching SMU punch for punch, SMU should hold on with their aggressiveness and Tulane's mistakes of late.

Wish they could of hung on. they have 4 games left and we have 5. Should be very interesting to see who cracks and drops a game they should have won.

What I like for us is these final games (MEMPHIS, Houston, UConn) will be on prime time ESPN and CBS. Hopefully that will give the players a little extra motivation.

At UCF really worries me.

Next two games for SMU are on the road and ours are at home. Having a 1 game cushion would be huge!

Huge game this weekend Smu @ Houston

Need Houston to win. It could help them earn a tourney bid and win us the AAC

From what we understand, the tiebreaker will come down to Houston vs. Memphis' standings in the AAC (due to common opponents). With Houston up a game on Memphis, and assuming both UC and SMU win out, one could argue that we essentially have a 1-game lead on the Mustangs. Either way, here's hoping the Cougars pull off the upset-maybe even thrusting them onto the bubble.

Nope its actually Memphis vs. UCF

We played Memphis once

SMU played UCF once

So if Memphis finishes higher (2 game lead over UCF) than SMU had the harder SOS in conference because they played them twice and they will win the 1 Seed. We'll still be co-champs and likely as the second seed we'll avoid UCONN so its not all bad if that happens

Memphis @ UConn, Memphis leading 40-26 at the half. Jalen Adams playing limited minutes due to injury. Uphill battle for a potential UConn comeback and win.

UConn fights all the way back and takes the lead. Wow! Under a minute to go.

Not sure if this is good or bad for us. Essentially our entire tie-breaker (assuming UC and SMU are 17-1) is going to come down to who finishes higher in the standings: UCF or Memphis. With the loss Memphis is now 8-6 and UCF is 7-7. UCF finishes with @ECU, @Temple, Cincinnati, and @USF while Memphis has a much tougher road with @Cincinnati, Tulane, Houston and @SMU.

Then again if UConn gets the 4 seed, I'd rather not have them be on our side of the bracket.
