Jeremiah Davis just made game winning layup against Miami (OH) to complete 16 point comeback win

I was a huge Davis fan and I 've been following his progress closely. He doesn't seem to have improved much since he left, but he is a starter for them. Unfortunately, he was one who played with confidence and had some grit. But, Mick had to break him down like the Marines do, and re-create him in Mick's own preferred style. Thus, Davis got buried on the bench and left. This was another player that made a huge mistake signing here. I fear we're seeing Jenifer traveling down that same road right before our eyes.

ISU beats #1 OU in a great game to watch. Love seeing plays make plays down the stretch. Something we haven't seen out of our team.

At this rate, with all the top teams losing, Xavier is going to be ranked #1 if they win. How freaking more worse can this season get?!

Xavier plays a brand of basketball that wins at the college level. I watch all their games. It's actually enjoyable.

While I agree they play a style that wins but damn I can't watch them. Makes me sick. But really its just the case of jealousy.

Oh god it is turning blue in here

We have turned the final corner

It's brutal, my hatred for Xavier is so strong yet I'm completely unable to say anything bad about them. I just get **** on constantly by my friends who are Xavier fans and there's literally nothing I can say back to them in response.

For that reason alone Mick should be fired immediately and forced to pay back 75% of the money he's been paid by the university.

Xavier has not been in a close game down the stretch all season until tonight and they missed the last 7 shots before making a layup with the game already over.

Yeah they got nervous. First time top 5 in school history. They did a really good job of forcing turnovers in the lat 2 minutes but bricked wide open threes.

Kansas got beat again last night also. This is a crazy season in college basketball. The Big 12 is really tough. Hypothetically, if we were in that league this year, where do you think we would be in the standings? They're pretty good from top to bottom.

probably in the upper half. this is a team that would benefit a lot from being in a good conference like that this year or some of our big east years in the past. for whatever reason, this year's squad is one of those teams that plays to the level of its opponent. with numerous opportunities to raise our game rather than a schedule filled with land mines, i think this season might be going quite differently.

Top half? Yeah right. We aren't even in the top half of the AAC right now. We'd be at the bottom with Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, KState, and TCU.

Best case would be finishing 10-8. I would imagine we'd be around 7 to 9 wins. Given the Big 12's strength getting to 8-10 in conference could be enough to get into the tournament.

That's certainly possible. Texas, TTech, KState, and Oklahoma State are all decent teams. Seems like the best of that bunch should get in.

That freshman PG for Oklahoma State Juwan Evans is the real deal. We recruited him for a while, then he blew up and became a McDonald's All-American. Mick isn't allowed to recruit those.
