Hahaha I totally agree. I could not stand the kid. He was a straight punk on the floor. He would always be running his mouth and taking cheap shots at guys.

Hard to believe that he was even considering leaving. Gotta wonder who's in some of these kids' ears convincing them that they're NBA-ready and should leave school early.

I think it was the smart thing for him to do as long as he didn't hire an agent. Why not go out and test the waters? With the new rules I'm surprised more haven't tried.

Totally agree. I like the new rules, and I think Purvis did the smart thing. Hopefully the new rules keep some of the talented-yet-not-ready underclassmen from opting for the NBA. Because as many former college star D-leaguers can attest to, opting for the NBA doesn't mean you'll ever play a game in the NBA...
 
Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet but dedric Lawson from memphis has withdrawn from the nba draft and is coming back. Good news for tubby and memphis. Really hope they can become good under tubby that is a fun rivalry when both teams are good
 
Xavier's Bluiett is returning to Xavier after realizing he wasn't going to get drafted. Xavier is going to be very solid again.
 
UConn's center Brihma is returning to school. Yaaay..seeing we only have 1 skilled big guy 6'9 or taller in Washington that should be fun. Can't wait to see him for another year.

I hope our big guys have passed him by in their devrlopment. He doesn't really scare me anymore.
 
While he gets in foul trouble but makes it very tough for us to score around the rim. He gave Caupain fits in the tournament. He makes a difference.
