You do realize our average offensive possession is 5.5 seconds faster than last year? That's a massive change.

I also really doubt you bet a single cent on the game because I'm sure we'd get a screenshot of your winning ticket if you had.

Isn't the shot clock dropping by 5 seconds most of the reason we're 5.5 seconds faster?

Not when last year we ranked 334th in average offensive possession time and currently rank 9th this year. Nice try.

My feed cut out when the game was 2-2, so I turned everything off and just got done watching the ESPN3 replay. Great win. Glad we pulled it out. 7-0 almost 25% through the season...impressive stuff.

Nail-biter for sure....but a great win! This weekend has given us a few new concerns, but heart isn't one of them!

I really don't think our shooting is as bad as the last few games would suggest. 1/3 of the misses fall, not even a game. I like the high ball screen action, take a dribble and shoot the open 3. Worked a few times for us tonight.

We can work on perimeter D, and post passing for sure. The amazing thing is that we can still get shots without good post passing. Did we have any shot clock violations this weekend? I know we almost had 1 but ended up getting a huge bucket on a putback. And even though a couple misses were pretty off today, our guys still shoot with the same confidence the next time. That gives me a lot of faith. We can get smoother in the halfcourt as time goes on. It's actually good imo that we clearly haven't peaked. That short jumper for Ellis is deadly...he should get 8 per game just on those...we just need to keep evolving.

Yep, early yesterday, I was beginning to melt down on our inside guys. But, they made a great comeback and it was a tremendous relief. Need to get Gary going. I know he stuffs the stat sheet, but I think he has a lot more offensive game than he's been showing. He's playing a little tentative.

I thought that statistic was at 70. Are you sure it is at 60?

49 wins in a row when we've scored at least 60 points.

EDIT: Also, similarly Cincinnati is 60-1 since 2010-11 when they've scored at least 70 points. The only loss was at Marquette in 2012.

Watch two minutes of practice and it is abundantly clear that Troy is the leader of this team. Maybe I'll let the other 12 guys know they are wrong for valuing his voice this week. I'm sure they'll understand as long as I let them know some old, grumpy dude with an agenda on a message board said it was so...

Can't believe this subject is still being discussed. Troy is the leader of this team and there isn't any room for debate on it.

Speaking of practice...man, this team could use some time on the practice court. Defense has struggled at times and the offense is too content to lapse into the bad habits of last year when faced with resistance. Not going to complain about wins, though. GW beat a tough Virginia team and has a veteran squad. Take the W and learn from the mistakes.
