I think 6-2 finish gets us the 4 seed possibly a 3. Any worse and we'll be a 5. Barring a collapse (3-5 finish or something) I dont see us falling off the 4 or 5 seed line. That said, we talk so much about later round matchups, but I do not want to play a 12 in the first round.

Maybe we better worry about the game at hand (day by day) before we worry about seeding.

I don't understand people saying things like this. We are fans...our looking ahead has no impact on the game or the team. I could speculate about how far our team should go in the tournament in 2018...it doesn't matter.

You can't win the Powerball if you don't buy a ticket!

Plummeted to a 7 seed playing in the West Region starting in Salt Lake. Not that it matters but our matchups to the Elite 8 would be Ole Miss, Arizona, and New Mexico. I wouldn't mind those haha.

This Georgetown game will be one of the biggest swing games we have for seeding in both tournies.

Easily the biggest game of the year so far. After Friday, look at our remaining games. We have to win on Friday BC a victory is going to be hard to come by after that.

G'town is 15th in the country. I think wins being "hard to come by" starts Friday. You know most, if not all of these games, will be close though. My guess is we are in all of them.

Agreed. The defense will keep them in every game. I would love some revenge in South Bend.

Not that that's likely to happen or anything, but that'd be a lot of fun to play UK in the first round.

We really do NOT want to be in that bracket! Kentucky, then Michigan (basically at home), and IF we survive that, Kansas. We'd be lucky to get to the 2nd game. But, that's all subject to change daily as teams get bumped off. As I said before, one game at a time and let the bracketology fall where it may.

February 19: Dropped to an 8 seed in the Indianapolis region playing Missouri followed by Indiana

i think it is very critical we get a 7 seed or if we finish strong, a 6 seed. an 8 or 9 seed would be an absolute disaster. I think we will end up with a 7 seed by finishing 3 and 2 in the regular season then winning one or two in the BE tourney. no point in trying to predict how this team will play cause there are nights when we could beat anyone in the country and there are nights were we could lose to anyone in the country.

There will be one thing we all can predict...we will draw a very tough road to the sweet 16. Its about the only thing constant with UC and the NCAA tourney. I personally think Eggsavier's AD has a large say in it.

Okay then, bobinski former eggsavier ad was responsible for our tough roads and x's easy paths to the sweet 16. Just saying

Very strange update. UC, Pitt, and ND have nearly identical resumes, other than a big edge in OOC SOS for us. Don't see a two seed difference between those resumes.
