Tonight was a big step in the right direction for the Cats. Cronin mentioned in his postgame saturday that Cash needed to build confidence. Tonights scoring and overall performance should really help this kid, as well as others, like Dixon. No turnovers from Cash is the most important statistic in my opinion. He is not going to have a game like this every night, but if he can just continue to develop his consistency and court vision, he might be able to reach his potential. Cash has the ability to score. I know scoring in high school is not the best gauge, but a kid doesnt score 50+ points in a game without some skill.

Couldn't go to the game tonight, but they sounded good. My favorite thing about this team so far, is the scoring distribution. So far, they are not counting on one or possibly two guys to score 20+ points a game. The team chemistry is looking good, and I really like the effort. I don't know if Jackson and Killa are the catalysts, but something is clicking this year. Cronin has to get some of the props in my opinion for recruiting these players and building this unit. Good job coach.
Go Bearcats!

When is the last time a UC point guard had a game that good? As good a leader as Warren was I'm not sure he ever had 18 and 8 with ZERO turnovers. That was a hell of a game by Cash. Very proud of his play tonight and hopefully this is a springboard because he's going to need to be VERY good on Saturday to beat a strong Dayton team.

I went to the game last night and cash looked the best ever. He still does not penetrate and kick enough, but a couple more performances like that and they will have to respect his 3 in return he will blow right by him because his speed is unmatched with the ball in his hands.... The whole team looked good and Yancey is a freak of nature... Yancey still fades back even on free throws but his conditioning and his heart is there this year.. I definately think he will be back next year. Dixon still did not impress me, he takes to many 3's which he did hit at a good clip. he has no penetrating skills and his passing is horrendous but he did hit a couple threes. Ibrahima looked terrible he gets right underneath the rim to rebound but shows flashes of how good of a low block scorer he can be..If Cash can keep up the scoring and keep down the turnovers hes going to gain alot of confidence real quick....
