Huge win. Man is anyone else excited for next year with the lineup we had out there. 3 frosh, 1 soph, and a junior! Wow. I really feel like we can make a great run in this tourney and beat WVU then beat Pitt and hopefully play our way into it baby! Couldnt have asked for a better draw in my opinion!

I like our matchup with WVA. We gave them all they could handle at their place. Hopefully the refs continue to allow physical play, because that bodes well for our guys.

I gotta give props to Wilks. He has stepped up offensively while Bishop is out, been active on the glass and has limited his boneheaded mistakes.
Biggie also was very active the short time we saw him.
Also, we missed SEVERAL layups. Cash and Thoms come to mind. We are already a poor shooting team. We have to convert these bunnies.
All in all great effort. Very fun game to watch. Let's keep it rollin'! Go Cats!

UC survives and advances....again....69-66 over Louisville.
UC equals their win total/record of last year...moving to 18-14.
Bring on Huggs and West Virginia.
I think my pacemaker malfunctioned. I think I was hyperventilating.
Down by 12, UC rallies and then hangs on. They out rebounded UL 54-33.
Deonta Vaughn, outplayed and abused by Edgar Sosa for much of the night, saved the day.
He re-entered the game around the 2-minute mark and promptly turned it over....again.
At that point he was 2 for 9 while Sosa was 10 of 15 for 28 points.
But I give him credit.
Mick put him back in and he came up with two big plays..a steal and 2 HUGE ft's in the final seconds.
I had to apply my superstition rules. I was sitting in my office...working on the show and listening to the game.
In the final 5 minutes I turned on the TV. Each time I turned around to watch UL would score. So I turned off the TV, put my head down, and listened.
At about 11:38pm, as the horn sounded, I let out a YEAAAAAAAA!
Not sure Kelly was all that pleased

I was cursing Edgar Sosa's name all night.
My wife was relieved UC won, not because she's a fan, but because she doesn't like me after a loss. So there have been many times she hasn't liked me this year. And the past 5 years.

I too share in your pain. My girlfriend doesn't seem to get it either ha. If she gets mad at me on gameday for ignoring here she will tell me she hopes UC. I hate bad karma so it bothers me.
