Cobb is better offensively and kj is better defensively there is not much of a drop off at sg between kj and Cobb both solid players.

Oct is a totally different player right now. A huge senior year is within reach...

I know he has added a lot of muscle weight so his work ethic and motivation are obviously there. Anything else you can point to that is improved from last year...footwork etc?

I think there's still room to give KJ 25 minutes, but he's going to have to earn it. You can use any combination of the two of Caupain/Cobb/KJ any way you want, which is very nice.

Talent was never the issue with Octavious. He needs to stay in games and not let his emotions get the best of him. IMO that is the biggest things he needs to work on this off season, well that and not moving his pivot foot.

Based on all of the recent information about how hard the Bearcats are working in the gym we are going to have one bad ass defense! They will not be pushed around or out muscled. The strength training is going to make them even more athletic and capable of staying in front of their man, blocking shots, reaction time etc.

On offense it should physically help them finish through contact near the rim or back down a defender as well as athletically get past their defenders.

Our rebounding margin should also increase.

Our stamina should be better.

We are adding much more than we lost IMO (3 frosh vs Sanders) and our 3 jucos are in their second year in the program which is often better than the "transition year".

If there is even marginal improvement on offensive skills (like shooting, passing and dribbling) it's going to be a tough squad to beat for any team in the country.

That list is laughable lol. Vanderbilt?

Lunardi has a new Bracketology with Cincy as an 8 seed. He's well documented as a Cincy hater, but that's ignorant reporting. You return your entire team and get a coach back, add solid recruits, and don't move the needle an inch, according to him.

The fact that LSU and Texas A&M there seems crazy to me, I know they got good recruiting classes, but cmon ESPN your SEC bias is showing.

Seems lazy. I bet he doesn't know 5 guys on our team.

Lunardi actually isn't very good at predicting seeding in the tourney. He hangs his hat on being within 1 seed line but the reality is, that is putting a team within 12 spots out of 68. Not all that impressive considering the bracketology rules essentially handle the selection of 1/3 of the teams and the seeding for most of the smaller leagues is going to be 14, 15, or 16. Not too difficult. Other guys don't pound their chest about it but do a much better job. This garbage is just more fuel to the fire for this team this year. I expect a great season this year.

Lunardi is middle of the pack amongst his peers (aka the 80 or so brackets that make up that bracket matrix site). He's on ESPN, only reason we know his name. He has a strong Philly bias which has turned into a strong new BigEast bias, and anti AAC.

I'm not sure why it bothers me, but the lack of respect has just gotten old the past 6-7 years. Saw somewhere that has UC 4th in the AAC this year. I honestly will be slightly disappointed if we don't win it, let alone 4th.

I'm more excited heading into this year than any year under Cronin. Mostly because I didn't know going into 2 seasons ago that SK would be a consensus all-american caliber, just expected him to be real good. We're balanced, with the best front court in our conference.

We have 13 OOC games. What are people thinking? Over/under is 11-2 I assume amongst this group.
