I understand what you're saying just fine. You just keep going back to saying the minutes can't be predetermined...a point that no one is arguing.

If Jenifer got 2 minutes tonight, great. That's fine. I don't care. I just hope that means he gets more in a game against UCF, USF, ECU, Tulane, etc. Then after the next 18 games, it spits out that he averaged about 10 minutes per game.
I hope he gets many more minutes because it will indicte we are winning. Oh and by the way I'm not arguing just making a statement. Again I'll ask have I broken a rule? You seem to always signal out my comments but others seem to get a free pass. How about this s if I break a rule let me know. If not I'll put you on ignore and you can do the same to me.

Trying to establish the inside game is not a bad they no but when Shaq.s defender drops down to help and the opposition doesn't have to concern themselves with defending him on perimeter it leaves little room to operate. I have also not seen Elllis represent a good passing big man. He's flashed but nothing consistent. His travel call with virtually no one near him on a very crucial possession was a killer. It's also been a norm

I have no idea why Ellis isn't turning and taking jumpers at the foul line when wide open. Baffles the hell out of me....he's got a nice jumper.

It took sooooo long last year for Cobb to finally start of KJ, does anyone have confidence that Mick will make the required adjustment this year? IIRC it wasn't until LD coached that they made the switch but could be wrong about that. Mick loves Shaq and KJ, just the way it is. Not sure why but he does and it will end up costing him. I just hope he figures it out before it's too late. I hate to say it but they can't afford too many more losses or they may be in jeopardy of missing the tournament.

Never said you did. Just tired of defending a point that is constantly being misrepresented.

Remember last year when he would make at least one jumper a game? I have yet to see him hit (has he event taken one?) one this year. The regression is amazing.

Ellis looks to me like he can not figure out what he is. Back to the basket or face up player. He is much to athletic to look as inept as he does at times. That said if you look at his line from tonight it is not bad. We scored 78 points. That almost always means we win.

Exactly, that's two tough home losses. Sometimes I think that hurts our already fairweather fans.

It's not just fairweathered fans. They need to wins some of these games, the home losses are becoming heart wrenching. In the past few years I can think of UL, Xavier, Tulane, Butler, ISU. I can't remember UC winning within the last minute of the game since Cash's shot against Alabama. Maybe SDSU, I don't remember since I couldn't attend that game.

Our home losses in the last three years: Lousville- Russ Smith at the buzzer, Tulane- Kid hits a near half court shot at the buzzer, Xavier- they hit two FT's in the closing seconds, Butler- Jones at the buzzer, Iowa State- Nader three in the closing seconds. Just brutal.

So you're going to twist a point to mean something it doesn't, then mock it? And I should just sit there quietly while you try to make me look like a fool?
im not mocking anything. Jacob I get no thrill out of trying to best people on a message board. As someone who has coached,as someone who has raised children who have played major college sports. As someone who trains people and has competed himself it is not practicle to try to set guidelines for playing time especially to apply numbers to it. Also it comes up every game thread with someone stating this guy should have rested more or that guy was gassed. That is not meant to twist the point? If you don't agree with my point do not reply.

I thought Shaq played huge in this game. His energy most definitely kept us in game

Energy doesn't keep you in games. If it did I'd be playing D1 ball. His rebounding was piss poor, he over helps on defense every single time, and his shot selection is terrible. That 3 pointer he took towards the end of the game was so freaking dumb. He just has no control of himself out there.
