Mick "I want the parade"

I attended the basketball banquet last night. Mick talked for a long while.

He commented that winning the NCAA Tourney at UC is why he is here. He said he wants the parade in Cincinnati after winning the Title. He said he told all the team that the only place he is going upon leaving UC is retirement. He said he has no interest in jobs like Kentucky because he can win the title here.

I personally believe he will win the NCAA Tourney at UC.

I heard he talked alot at the banquet and about everything he had to say was really good. Its sad he still has to sell himself to some fans, but I feel not only did we hire the right man to rebuild, I feel we have to right man to take us further. The program is finally back where we need it to be. We have a winning pedigree and expectancy now and recruitment keeps getting better. We also have some of the national attention back on us and the majority of our roster doesn't remember the rough, rebuilding days.

if only we could go back in time. reason i left some these forums was the idiotic bashing of cronin.
