Mick's RECRUITING

Yancy and Lance's senior years would be the correct assumption. Sure anytime..

Wow. This board is not overly friendly.

I was being sarcastic and people won't be friendly when you act like you are "running the thread". You made your point and then you proceed to put people down and act like your shit don't stink. Not a way to have a good discussion. I don't understand why internet boards always turn into egotistical pissing contests.

edit: and five star players don't stick around for their senior years unless they aren't worthy of their five star status, they wouldn't have been seniors their same years and both players limited this team when they were on the floor, so your argument really holds no water if you really want to stick with that statement. Mick is a smarter recruiter now because he took a chance and lost on a Lance and because a Yancy stuck around four years and kept him from being able to fully implement his style of play and utilize all other recruits he's recruited for the sole purpose of running that style

I want 4star recruits not top 25. They don't stay long enough. Shaq and Jermaine are perfect examples. Cash and Yancy(5 star) as well. My shit don't stink most of the visits to be honest..

I'm friendly to those people who deserve it. You don't deserve it.

You're what they call a blowhard.

I support mick, you support Huggins. I support this national championship contending team, you say they are bad when they are up 40.

Why don't you just go root for eggsavior or nohio state or loserville or kensucky or Sindiana or many of the other local teams

Both of these guys are recent recruits so how is his recruiting getting worse exactly? The guys coming in next year aren't out of high school yet, lets wait and see how they are ranked after they are done playing. This is the first year Mick has gotten his whole class filled in the early signing period. That in and of itself is a huge sign that things are on the up in the eyes of 17 year-olds. Players aren't waiting to "fall" to us anymore.

Will do. That's fair I agree.

Mple is not friendly at all and he adds nothing of substance ever

And you do Ralph? You, and your multiple ids, have ruined a good forum which my wife use to enjoy. Now this site is nothing more than comic relief from other respectful Cats sites. I still am amazed that these so called mods allow you to make this forum nothing more than a bad movie.

UC could use a Cleveland Melvin down low. I hope Mick finally comes through on some true low post scorers.

UC could use Yancy Gates. I always liked Yancy, but he was frustrating. I guess distance makes the heart grow fonder. I think Jamaree can fill the void next year. Caupain and Guyn at point. IDK where K. Johnson will fit in, he is listed as a PG but is much more of a SG. Morman might not qualify, and that could be used for Lawrence, but I doubt he comes here. I think we would be better off with an average PG, SK, and a solid big man-we will miss Cash, but at least the offense can have some balance.

I can't imagine Strickland providing much of anything next year....I've said this since Guyn stepped foot on campus, he makes me nervous as a PG. He just doesn't have good enough ball handling skills to effectively play it. It's either got to be JDIII, who coming off a redshirt year might struggle, or Caupin. I hope Caupin is good enough but unfortunately it most likely will be Guyn.

Of the underclassmen, it sure seems like UC has alot of semi-talented players, but nobody is really stepping up.

Guyn is shaky.
Sanders seems unaggressive.
JDIII was in the doghouse and now injured.
Thomas was highly touted, but plays only sparingly.
Rubles with the ugly shot form and inconsistency.

I hope they all arrive next year.

I'm with you, Guyn handling the ball is terrifying, he just doesn't have enough poise under pressure, too many turnovers, and he's not a floor general. If someone else doesn't step up, we could be hurting next year at the point and for the rest of this year if Cash's injury is significant.
