I don't know if I buy the whole energy theory. The games are officiated a bit differently for the visiting teams is Why I think all road teams struggle. Plus travel, unfamiliar settings and change in schedule, Athletes are normally creatures of habit.

And UConn only had 7 scholarship players available and Adams and Purvis were banged up. Not your typical road opponent

Youre correct..That's why the post is so important. When Tacko and UCF took away our post it really hurt us. I am more scared about our post being taken away with some really tough bigs than a 30% 3 point shooting night. When youre cold you gotta get easy buckets somehow.
Not many 7'6 defenders out there. Clark and Washington both played will against Brimah. Washington in Cincy and Clark in both places. Brimah is a very good post defender. I like our inside game against almost all the other bigs I have seen this year.

I do love this year just how good we are and I'm really not scared of any team. Yeah, I don't necessarily want to play UCLA or a team like that but Im not counting us out of any game. I mean two years ago, after the Purdue win, Lets be honest we were competitive to compete but it was pretty certain that we wouldn't be able to pull out the win.

The tournament is all about match ups.

In the last 3 years we could only win by grinding it out. And we just so happened to face teams who really were bad matchups for us. We had the toughest 9 seed last year in my opinion with a pro on its team.

This year we now have multiple options on offense and defense. If a team is shooting well from 3, we switch to man to man . If a team if getting it inside on us, we play the match zone. If a team wants to push the pace, we can score in transition and score in the 70 or 80's or if they try to slow us down, we're masters of the grind it out.

Sure. We could lose in the first round. Mich st did last year.

But we also are much more equipped for a run because of our new found versatility offensively and defensively. We also have multiple scoring options this time around.

Wrong! The All-AAC teams suggest that we don't have much to work with!

If we just assume we're a 5 seed.

Let's Look at the bracket matrix composite of twelve seeds:
Syracuse : kenpom: 44 Off rank: 32 def rank: 102
Illinois state: kenpom: 49 off rank: 133 def rank: 14
Nevada: kenpom: 57 off rank: 35 def rank: 104
Unc-Wilmington: kenpom: 59 off rank: 20 def rank: 185
Texas Arlington: kenpom: 71 off rank: 66 def rank: 78

Now let's compare to our last year and the Harvard.
13-14 Harvard: kenpom: 33 off rank: 46 def rank: 27 3pt%: 38.6
15-16 st joes: kenpom: 44 off rank: 32 def rank: 63

Essentially we got F*cked hard the last time we were a 5 seed. Played on the west coast and played a team who had zero business being a 12

Right.. But there's some really good bigs out there that we can see in the tournament. We should be fine though. It was good to see Gary handle Brihma like that.

Im really torn between who I think has the better offensive game. Washington or Clark. Clark routinely defers to Washington when both our in the game but when Washington is not in the game Gary seems a bit more assertive. Both have range. Gary showed some real nice reverse spin moves against Brimah and no one but Fall has stopped Washington's lef handed hook.

Only seen Syracuse a few times but I wouldn't like to play them in our first game.

The first round game will be no problem it's the 2nd round game we all should be scared about.....

Why should UC be scared b/c UConn will have Vance Jackson back, because the game is at UConn where UC beat them by 20 shooting 30% on their Senior day? No matter who they play it will be a team that they haven't lost to this year.

He may be talking about the NCAA tourney, not sure though. Otherwise I'm not sure why we should be scared.
