Don't get me wrong Waite, it would be far better for our program as a whole if you're the one to be proven right. Let's hope tonight is the start of something good. I'm anticipating a god-awful ugly offensive game, but two of our last four offensive performances have actually been pretty good, so I'm going with the odds being in our favor for a turn-around offensively. I don't think it is possible to duplicate Saturday's effort in two consecutive games. Tonight has to be better!
Like you I expect the worst tonight if we don't make a few shots. Hope we are both proven wrong about that. Have a good time and bring home a winner. Can't make the game tonight Daugther is home from Atlanta. She is a dayton grad so I couldn't interest her in the game. lol

Watching Nebraska vs. Loyola Marymount. Nebraska has 14 points with 3 minutes left in 1st half. How in god's green Earth did we lose to that team?

scoring is down accross the board in college basketball even with the no hand check rule.

Sanders is 56% in his career and Shaq is 60%. And I'll bet you anything you want that Ellis and Clark don't hit over 70% when combining their attempts. I think they'll both be in the high 50s range.[/QUOTE]

Since the Nebraska game Ellis has shot 23 of 25 from the stripe for 92%. Wow!! Clark is 14/20 for 70%. Combined they have been 82% over the last 9 games...and are up to 69.4% on the year combined.

I'm starting to wish I would have taken this bet:)

On a side note KJ has been 10/11 for 91% since Nebraska.

Beautiful. Thanks for the update. I remember saying that but couldn't remember the thread it was in. I would love for this to continue to climb. If I recall, Ellis was 1-6 from the floor in the 1st half but 6-6 from the line against Temple...good to see he has been able to take his time when he gets up there and isn't letting struggles from the floor carry over. Hope he avoids the stretches where he is below 50% for a few games.
