Big news coming soon regarding realignment from The Dude of West Virginia With his podcast featuring brett mcmurphy later this week. UVA and GT are as good as gone. Unc could go either way

The Ralph will soon be wrong yet again.

You could not be more incorrect, anyone using The Dude of WV as their source has to be really naive.

Is Andy Katz reporting any such happenings in regard to conference realignment on ESPN.com? ESPN has TV contracts with both the Big 10 and the ACC, if something were happening ESPN would know as no one makes a move concerning adding members without the input of their TV rights holder.

Why do you trust Andy Katz is the better question, you heard what Boeheim said about him!

Brett mcmurphy knows more than Andy Katz. Brett mcmurphy will be on the dude's show

The guy that started yesterday's hot rumor has already backtracked:

@insidemdsports: Seems to be some confusion. So it's clear, I've reported nothing to the effect that UNC is Big 10-bound; just that Big 10 wants the Heels.

Latest reports have Virginia a lock to the Big Ten. Ralph, expansion is happening whether you like it or not.

Note, the article I posted above does not say Virginia is a lock but through combing through info, my deduction is they are a lock.

Just another false report from bleacher report. Virginia is totally committed to the ACC, so committed Virginia voted to raise the ACC exit fee to $52 million.

Not enough to become an AAU member, which is needed to get into the Big 10.

Uc will never get invited to the b1g. Lets put this fairy tale to rest

First and foremost ohio state.

2nd, conference realignment is about adding new markets. Ohio is overwhelmingly ohio state territory.

It's not going to happen. At this point it's acc then big12(which I want) a distant second

Conference realignment is over in the Power 5 Conferences for several years (until about 2025). The only movement will be in the Gang of 5 such as Tulsa to the Big East and in the basketball conferences such as Butler, X, Dayton to the C7.

As much as I want UC to get into a Power 5 Conference it does not seem as if it will happen anytime soon. I will gladly buy pizza for all posters on this board should UC ever get into the Big 12 or ACC. It will take the ACC wanting to move to 17 members or the Big 12 to 12 members for UC to move, and neither of those conferences is willing to take less money per school to add UC and or UConn.
