Next years team

looks like TC has grown in some updated pics, would that change if he is 6-5 next year, if so to a 2 or 3?

I like the idea of having a 6'5 PG...if the rumors are true. It would add to his already great rebounding, will allow him to finish at the rim even better, and will allow him to pass over his defender more. The only thing I worry about is he already has a high dribble and if he's still growing he's still getting used to the height changes as it relates to his ball handling. He may have to add a little Magic Johnson move where he keeps the defender away from the ball with his body and length.

Or pull a Jason Kidd and play with his back to the basket 30 feet out haha.

If TC is 6'5 he just turned himself into lock for 1st rd. Don't see how he stays 3more yrs with that height and length. His still amongst youngest on team he's going to be scary good by time he leaves.

I will be shocked if Troy isn't a 4 year player.

I wouldn't use the word shocked. If he's 6'5 and probably still growing its going to be hard keeping him around. He was arguably a top 5 freshman PG last year with limited playing time. I see him putting up historicaly ridiculous overall numbers with that height and length. If he's up to challenge I see no reason by Jr year he isn't averaging 14pts 8ast 7reb 3st

I would agree with you...it may be unlikely but certainly not impossible
Its better for present and future that we start having a couple guys every year in discussion for NBA. At 6'5 and with his playing style it a be hard keeping TC on campus 4yrs.

This topic is funny, because everyone wants TC to do well but we seem to be afraid that if he does to well he will be off to the NBA. If he goes to the NBA then the Bearcats had one heck of a season. With him being so young I could see him the one with a breakout year.

I'll just ask it. If Caupain is actually 6'5" or 6'6", is that really a good thing? I feel like that's REALLY tall for a point guard. He'd lose a little bit of speed, right? His handles could suffer too. If you think I'm crazy, that's fine. If a shooting guard were growing, I'd be psyched, but I'm not sure I want a huge point guard.

I need more than 4apg from my lead guard. I'm cool with 6.5+

Cash never averaged 5
Vaughn never averaged 5
Went back and checked stats to see what Van exel did. Never averaged 5

Cash also just won his leagues tourny. Didnt average 5 assists

I think Troy averaging around 4 assists is pretty fair

Michael carter- willams was tall and he was good IMO the taller the better also Lebron plays some point forward lol

Why would he lose speed? LeBron is 6'8"... he looks pretty fast to me. D-Rose (pre-injury) and John Wall are 2 of the fastest point guards in the league and they are both 6'4".

I think Mick was hoping Troy would be close to 6'5" the whole time. But before we start throwing numbers like 6'6" around, do we have anything besides a few instagram pictures to go off of?
