Also that trip I'm hearing of to the Bahamas will be great for this team, it will allow them to jell and come together

With two scholly's left we could go in multiple directions. Got some good returning pieces and some nice talent already signed. Replacing three seniors who logged lots of minutes. Playing time is a big inducement and we have that to offer. Should be a exciting few weeks.

I'm listening to the radio show now and I wish someone would ask Cronin why year after year UC struggles to finish around the rim. He just talked about how many missed layups we have but I want to know why!

Mick just mentioned the Bahamas on his radio show. Said 10 days in August and it will be critical for his teams development. He said UC pr needs to get on it and let people know about it.

Any mention of teams?

Biggest take aways from the show...

1. Very proud of the team considering how they were undersized against every team they played this year. Amazing how Justin Jackson was able to anchor a defense at 6'7'' 220. Said SK might have weighed the most out of the starters and there were games where the opposing 2 guard outweighed UC's center.

2. Said DeBerry shot 73% from the field and can finish with both hands. Has gigantic hands. Not expecting finishing around the rim to be a problem.

3. Moore has a very good touch on his jumper which is rare for a guy his size.

4. Gary Clark could see slide down to the 3 at times since currently UC has 5 guys for the PF and C spots.

5. Looking primarily at signing perimeter players with the remaining 2 scholarships.

6. Team will spend 10 days in the Bahamas in August. Unlimited practice time during those days.

7. Agreed that Caupain and Lawrence improving over the summer is a huge key for the team.

8. Wasn't expecting Lawrence to be as good on defense as he was but his offense needs work. He is confident that he is willing to put in the work given how hard he played on defense this year.

9. Morman is an elite athlete, high level of toughness needs to slow down on offense.

10. Justin Jackson will play in the Portsmouth Invitational NBA Draft camp while SK will not (advice of agents, most have seen him at this point).

Yup you nailed it. Good wrap up. I love that UC gets 10 days of unlimited practices during that stretch up to the Bahamas. That will be nice additional practices for our guys.

Because they haven't had good bigs. It's not rocket science. The rest is strength. SK finished fine Shaq doesn't. What I'd like to know is why they dont dunk.
