Now we are comparing ellis to max? Yikes...

You still haven't said why you think there's no shot Ellis has NBA potential.

Long, athletic, good mid range game, shot blocker. If he can expand his range towards the 3 point line and continue to mature physically, he can absolutely be a 4 in the league.

Ellis has a great looking 15 footer as well which is a must in the NBA at the C position. The biggest thing for him is foot work, he travels a lot and gets away with travels a lot. But he is definitely the best all around center in the Mick Cronin era.

Sounds like a perfect fit for the NBA. :D

This is a hypothetical question but would anyone feel comfortable with Ellis on the floor if UC played at Xavier this year?

I can't say I would. He let's players get in his head way too easy. Just from an attitude stand point I still see a lot of the same attitude shortcomings. Talent standpoint is night and day. But from him getting rattled, the problem is still there.

Dude he's played the most minutes out of anyone on our team he has to be exhausted specifically after the past 3 games. He and Troy are still are mvp's with Clark close to that category as well

A 21 yr old kod cant play alot of minutes???? Grow up.

Still an NBA player fellas???

Or we ready to admitt the legend was once again spot on.

I wasn't one that said he was going to be an NBA player, but are you really going to ask the question every time Ellis has a bad game? Only douchebags do that. Grow Up.

First year at this level. It has to do with experience, not age. He has played 24 games as a D-1 Center. He has a lot of work to do, no doubt. But if he can put on some weight and work on his footwork, he'll have a real shot. 6'10" guys with his length and touch are gonna get every chance. He still has another year here too ya know...

Realistically this kid needs to put on 25 pounds. The potential is there but is the work ethic? Need him on the justin Jackson strength program asap.
