We don't know whether or not Ellis will start tomorrow all Davis said was that he would be in the lineup, which means on the lineup card.

I want Ellis to start for the simple reason that if Corey starts he will be even more prone to little ticky tack fouls. You know that they will call the start of NCAA games close and if he is in there he is so foul prone that we will literally have our only back-up for Ellis on the bench with 2 fouls. Starting him does nothing in my mind but hurt his ability to effect the game.

Let the game get going and play him in the role he is comfortable in because we all know we will need him in this game to contend.
Ellis DeBerry Clark all need start if we go let Ellis play

Moore, can't say, but doesn't seem like the rah rah celebrate type. Wish he was. Guyn, I don't know, it is a weird situation with him leaving, maybe he wanted to concentrate on class to graduate

I think thats fair with Guyn, can you imagine going through what he had to go though this year, it would be awful to lose your senior year like that. I could understand him working on his school to open his possibilities in case his scholarship isnt there, he does need to graduated. Moore was celebrating on the bench last night but I think he seems like a quieter guy. Moore btw is in the celebratory video just off screen so you cant see him as much, he did not pour water on the coach however :p

I wish he had Guyn but it is what it is. I think before the season started Guyn was over being a student athlete. I remember in a media day interview he was asked about the upcoming season, his response was, "I don't know, I feel like I've been here forever." After that I got the vibe he was over everything.

Joe Danneman ‏@FOX19Joe
Ellis if UK impresses him: "Nothing impresses me. It's just basketball." Reporter: "They don't impress you?" Ellis: "Nah. It's just bball."

Another Joe Danneman tweet:

Octavius Ellis on last night's ejection: "Just trying to box out. A physical box out. I guess I caught him because he's so tall..It was a basketball play to me and everybody else, but people have their reasons."

Haha I feel you Guyn, that's the UC effect in practice!

So Guyn quit his senior year bc he wanted to focus on school? Is that what we're going with?

Well he did have surgery and I don't know what the recovery time was for that. So I don't think quit is the right word. A degree goes a long way when you don't have pro prospects

I agree about the degree. I'm not diminishing the value of that. But the fact that he wasn't on the bench for months and didn't participate in Senior Day bc he was granted his release makes me think there was more to it than that.

why speculate??? He left. If he wanted everyone to know he would tell us.

I'm not doubting that there is something else, just doesn't make sense.
