Another good one going on between Arizona and Stanford. The only real "weakness" (and I say that with some doubt) is that they don't seem to be a great three-point shooting team. But other than that they have it all.

Northwestern is up by 12 points on the road at the Kohl Center against Wisconsin. Crazy how top B1G teams are falling to the bottom dwellers...

It really does speak to how good ANY win is in conference. We can't be too critical of "poor wins" in conference. It's just irrational to expect we beat every team by what we are supposed to. We have taken care of business as well as any team in the country as far as in conference play so far. Undefeated! That's all we could have done...we couldn't have done any better.

It's just crazy that both Penn State and Northwestern win on the ROAD against ranked teams. Is the B1G that deep or are the top team overrated? I think it is a bit of both...

Every once in a while you lose a game in conference you weren't supposed to. We have yet to do that...and that is why we are ranked so high. We haven't had that let down. Could we have? yes...will we? I doubt it with Cronin at the wheel. He's got his players minds on track IMO.

We are no bad losses and a couple of big wins from a great NCAA seed.

It could be 3 things. Overrated top teams, deep big 10, or teams that are looking past the easy opponent...something Cronin doesn't do all that often.

SMU looking good early on against Memphis. That will be a tough game when we have to go to Dallas.

Memphis is starting to play a lot better. SMU was favored by 2, so I bet Memphis to win outright. Figured it'd be a great game regardless, but SMU was awful against USF, and Memphis is far more talented IMO.

Ohio State beats Wisconsin at the Kohl Center. Talk about two desperate teams. Buckeyes needed it badly.

That was a very big win for OSU. Wisconsin's offense was ugly at the end of that game. Did they even make a shot in the final 6+ minutes?

Is there a more desperate team today than Baylor? They are tied at 27 at Oklahoma State. A loss would drop them to 1-7 in the B12 and their next two games are Vs Kansas and @ Oklahoma. This is a team that was ranked #7 in the country three weeks ago!

Dayton kept their tournament hopes alive today with a win over GW. Anyone know if they are allowed to play on their home floor in the First Four?

During the Oklahoma State Baylor game, Jimmy dykes did a segment where he listed in four we trust. He said these were the 4 best leaders in college basketball. He had Marcus smart Sean Kilpatrick Doug McDermott and Fred Van Vleet.

Is it just me or does Scott Drew a poor man's Calipari. Hell, he is a poor man's Josh Pastner. Think how good Mick's defense would be with all the length Baylor has, no clue why they play that lazy zone so often. I agree that a loss in this game probably eliminates them from at-large contention. The Big 12 is too tough of a league and they've already lost at home to WVU and against Texas Tech.

Dayton is another enigma. Start off the season well every year, but they are simply mediocre in the average A-10. I do wonder if that can play there. It wouldn't be fair to move them into the last 4 byes just because the game is on their home floor. Talk about a bubble team getting screwed.

What about Marcus Smart screams leader? I like Jimmy Dykes, but I don't get that one at all!

He is a very good player but he came back to improve his jump shot and he is only shooting 30.5% from three. Outside of Aaron Craft, he is the most hated player in college basketball. They dubbed him a great leader before the season, so they can't be wrong.

SMU and Memphis tied 29-29 at the half. Big game in the American, a SMU win is essential for their tournament hopes and it puts everyone but UC and UofL with 3 losses or more.

Thats awesome about SK. He deserves it.

Also I loved seeing eggsavier lose to the power house Seton Hall at home. That tough Big East schedule must be taking a toll on them. ;)
