Richard Sherman was right, it is becoming the socially acceptable way to call people the n-word by using "thug."

I'm not a big Richard Sherman fan, as he used the race card later in that SI article. I do think people overreacted a bit because it was right after a big win and he was hyped. I like players like AJ Green who shut their mouth and work hard in the community. I realize that everyone isn't going to be like that, but I just makes me happy to see people who care about more than just themselves. JJ has done lots of community service and there were multiple stories last year on him and a girl in a wheelchair that he helped (can't remember the exact details now). His mean face is more him showing his energy and intensity, it's not like he is showing or mouthing off.

I would like to the know what the moron who wrote this into the Enquirer would say about Smart if he thinks JJ is so bad:http://cincinnati.com/blogs/letters/2014/02/05/many-fans-disgusted-by-justin-jackson/#comments

That enquirer post was so dumb, just another pissed off xavier fan.
I loved the jackson tweet that appeared to be in response to that imo

Mick has said on many occasions that Jackson is the type of guy to take pictures with anyone who asks and always has a smile on his face. Compared to some of his predecessors he is a great example of a college athlete to me...

St. Johns and Creighton has been a pretty good first half. Jonnies lead by 5 late in the first half. They are exactly the type of team that can give Creighton all kinds of trouble.

I don't really know much about Rubles, but it seems that SK and JJ are both model college athletes. They both are team players and they cared out more than just themselves.

Syracuse wins 57-44. I know they are a much more efficient offense, but no one seems to criticize them for these low scoring games.

Creighton trails St. Johns by 2, 65-63 with 2 minutes to go...

I remember SK randomly posting on my facebook wall freshmen year. He called me "The biggest UC fan he knew" at the time, and I've been a fan of him ever since. The whole team is full of stand up guys who play hard. One thing im really happy about with yesterday was that they never seemed to take out their frustration with any cheap shots against SMU. They really took the loss in stride.

Huggy's squad is slamming #11 Iowa State by 27. They are looking like they could make the tournament, but they've got a tough road ahead.

Kansas St. just knocked off #7 Kansas, that should vault UC ahead of 'em in the polls next week as long as we beat Houston.

Wow, that letter to the editor is ridiculous. I don't eveer recall Jackson doing anything to show up the other team. He knows what he does fires his own team up and they follow his lead with the heart he has. I wouldn't want him to act any other way than he already does!

Have you guys heard about this kid, Thon Maker? He is only a sophomore, he is 7'1 and has sick handles/jump shot. Future Bearcat??!!:D
