The fact that there are rumors about players returning should say a lot. If it was that bad, no one would consider it. And we would have heard some actual evidence by now.

I think it depends on who and why. Obviously we know next to nothing about what occurred. But if it’s a role communication issue with Saunders (and he got caught up in other players issues) I’d probably entertain his return. Tari, as much of a talent he is, he never seemed bought in and had the baggage of his mom. Mason... I dunno. Of all the players I don’t understand his issues or why he is leaving.

I think this is a very fair question... Pending the quality of player we could bring in answers it for me... If we can bring in equal talent I would say no.

I’d say Greg McDermott could be one. I know we were in heavy on their big freshmen

Worst rated defensive player with over 168 minutes on his team. Assist rate worse than Diarra. Doesn't rebound well. Only shot 25 2's on the season. 6'1" and not athletic.

Basically does nothing but shoot threes. This guy would do well in the horizon league. But he does not have the athleticism or defensive skills to play in the American. Besides that he's going to have trouble hitting threes when guarded by a 6'5" athlete.

Agree. If we bring this guy in, his role needs to be freshman/sophomore Field Williams. Park him in the corner against the press for wide open catch-and-shoot threes, or an occasional zone buster. Shouldn't be a regular rotation player. I'd be ok with him if he understands he'll have a drastically reduced role from the 35 minutes he's getting now. I doubt he wants that though.

All these guys are fine in spots. You just can’t be put in a spot where these guys have to play. Like Vogt. Vogt is fine if you use him against little team but not every team.

Don’t have access to the athletic but I love that he is supporting JB.... give me DDJ and Davenport... seem like great kids who love playing for UC... I’m not sure Mason really wanted to leave personally but he was siding with Gabe.... as a twin myself I completely get it.. add a few transfers and we could end up not being awful.... look at Wichita and Arkansas
