Predict the Seed and the Region

4 seeds advance to the second round 79% of the time and 5 seeds advance 67% of the time (same probability for a 6 seed). If Cincinnati was to get a 5, I would probably lean towards them being a 5/12 casualty...

They would seem to be the easy choice for one of the annual upsets in that seeding. I just hope mick gets this team prepared to play. Only a few more hours until we really get to do some analysis!!!

I'm hoping for a 4 seed in Midwest. Play OSU or oklahoma in second round. Ucla doesn't scare me too much. If SK doesn't do his usual fire away 3 balls at the beginning of the game, he could take Anderson off the dribble a draw early fouls. SK (despite the missed layup Friday) really finishes well at the basket and uses his body well to ward off taller defenders at the hoop.
Any thoughts on my thoughts about a possible SK/Anderson matchup? I love the knowledge on this board, I've learned a ton just from following you all on here this season. Thanks for that!
Palm has us as a 3 in the east which looks great if nova is the 1 seed there.

The bracket palm has for us is great, i honestly do not fear any team because when we play good we can beat anyone with that said Michigan st is a great tournament team and Izzo is a great tournament coach so i hope they beat michigan and get them out of that 4-5 seed slot, with them gone i think we are definitly better than the other 4-5 seeds and i like our chances. Im hoping our seniors go out with a bang, and think they will regroup after that tough uconn loss and make a big run.

I agree, mich st looked scary good against wisc yesterday. I don't think they can shoot that well game in and game out but that is a lot of offensive weapons for coach izzo.

I think we cling to a 4 seed. I agree with the thoughts about Mich st. I would add UVA to the list of teams you don't want in your region.

Lunardi (so take it for what it's worth) has x, ud, byu, and Nebraska in the last 4 in. They would be in the play in games. Wouldn't want to play ud in Dayton

I am mentally prepared for the 5 UC will get, all I've heard from most analysts is how this team makes your eyes bleed when you watch them. There's just too many questions about the offense for the committee to do UC any favors. It's funny too, cuz Syracuse has just as hard of a time scoring as we do but that is never part of the conversation.

If the committee goes by overall body of work we should stay a 4 seed but I can see them putting us at a 5. I don't want to see mich st or creighton, but I'd take creighton if I had to choose between the two.

Since UC is likely to be 4/5 line I'm glad they didn't draw Florida's region.

UD vs OSU should be an interesting matchup.

I really hope Michigan State got moved up to a 3. I am okay playing the rest of the 4/5 teams. Going to have to play a quality team at some point anyways.

The West region is crazy. Arizona got a really tough draw for a 1 seed. No way they come out of that one.

I am thinking SMU is going to be in the play-in games. Memphis will be int he 8/9 game, UofL will be a 3, UConn a 4 and Cincinnati a 5. Those are my pessimistic picks...
