For reference: Cincinnati played Nebraska, NC State, Xavier, New Mexico, Pittsburgh and NC Central all in the OOC. They were 4-2 vs those teams

I'm not going to complain, this whole bracket is a clusterfuck. Will have to win vs quality teams.

Just don't understand the reasoning behind many of the committees decisions. UCONN a 7 seed, UL a 4 and SMU out says all you need to know how they viewed the American. Yet 6 teams from A10 in tourny.

So we're a 5 and both CBS analyst pick us to lose to Harvard.

Par for the course. Sometimes I think Mick whines too much, but there is some truth to the fact that the national media is always against us. I think people see our offense and think we suck, but fail to see that we are one of the most consistent teams in the country. We rarely get blown out, we play hard, and we play tough.

Ron Wellman on CBS right now talking about how SMU is out because of their strength of schedule. Quality out-of-conference schedule is an absolute MUST.

that is the best take away from all of this. In future years, if we continue to reside in the AAC, we could find ourselves in a very similar position without scheduling a tough OOC.

The NCAA needs to shrink Div 1 down instead of continuing to let it balloon out. They keep talking SOS, SOS, but if you didn't have 350 teams then schedules couldn't get so watered down. Inmy opinion playing the 175th best team is no differnet than playing the 300the best team if you're a top 50 team. But it really brings down your SOS. So the commitee is telling us to not schedule these really bad teams but allows the teams to be on the same playing field as us (Div 1).
