Shaq Goodwin is a definitely a more talented player. It is hard to tell with him being coached by Pastner. He might not still be in college if he was somewhere else (including here).

Shaq Goodwin is more athletic than Clark and he has more home run ability I'll give you that, but he strikes out a lot too. Clark effects the game for us in every category on the stat sheet more than anybody else on this team maybe even in more than any player on any team in the conference, even if he doesn't score a point in a game he will more than likely have an impact in another category. If shaq Goodwin doesn't play well offensively than he is useless in all other aspects of the game and seems uninterested. Clark doesn't let that get to him.

Do you consider Marcus Kennedy at SMU a 4 or 5?

Kennedy will be playing the 5 this year for Smu with whoever that guys name that goaltended in the ucla game in the tournament graduated ( yonic moreau? I think his name was something like that.) but yes I think as of right now Kennedy is probably better than Gary Clark.

And to the argument of how many points Clark scores compared other pf's in our league, with all the intangibles Clark has and have much he affects our game he or caupain to me are our best players, although I think Ellis has the most upside. But as far as winning goes which is all I care about having Clark in the game gives us the best chance to win because of everything he does on the floor

I'll take Clark over Goodwin. Goodwin better fit for system we run though

Goodwin Kennedy Ellis all NBA 4's. I'm only taking Clark over Goodwin.

Last year as a freshman in the 5 major stat categories Clark was 4th in scoring/ 2nd in ast/ 2nd in rebounds/ tied or 2nd in steals/ and 2nd in blocks on a very good team

Shaq Goodwin on a mediocre team was 2nd in scoring/ 1st in rebounds/ 6th in ast/ 7th in steals/ and 2nd in blocks

Talked a little about how hard Cobb works, the Hall of Fame and Cayman Islands tournaments in the upcoming years.

Thanks. Cobbs shot is looking deadly so far. He must have put some time in. Obviously he worked his butt off like everyone else in the gym.

Wow I thought about this but Mick just commented that he has yet to call a timeout in all 5 games.

That is amazing for Cronin. It's going to be less necessary to call a TO to ream the team when you have a second whole team of capable players ready to go at a moments notice. I realize TO's can be and are used for other reasons:) One of those would be to stop a good run by the opponent which we really haven't had to deal with yet. Another would be to make adjustments which again hasn't been an issue so far. Another reason to use a TO would be to get a breather...another issue which won't be much of an issue with our depth.
