Love watching Hamilton Play. He brings excitement in the field, at bat and on the bases. Hope he can continue to get on base at a acceptable clip. If he is on first base he is a triple in a few pitches.

He's been very good. I wish they'd have a SLG+ stat to factor into OPS that accounts for SB - CS. Bc his OPS doesn't reflect how valuable he's been lately.

Couldn't agree more Jake. He has been very close to automatic on the bases. Lots of fun to watch. Hope he can continue to improve his OBP. If he could get to 330 or so he could steal 80 or 90.

Got to see a walk off on the Cardinals Friday night. But have to say seeing Jay Bruce in a Mets uniform was strange and a bit sad. Great weather for a weekend of baseball

It may be strange but don't think it is sad. He went 0-4 and threw a ball over his catchers head. I think the reds maximized Bruce with his affordable salary and traded him at the right time and got a stud 2B in return.

I liked Bruce fine but I don't really miss him either. I honestly think I like Schebler just as much, and probably more in the future.

In that context I can agree. The Reds were better off moving him. Time will tell if we got a stud 2nd. My comment was more about him being a fine young man who represented the organizations and city very well in his time here.

i hope Scott can continue to build on his progress. Like Duvall both have plate discipline issues. That said, he has shown flashes of promise. I still miss Bruce not just as a player but he is a fine young man.

Yeah it is always strange having a guy move on who has been in the organization since day 1 of his pro career.
