Yes! I agree completely. How often do we have guys with double digit FG attempts? Doesn't anyone wanna shoot the ball? We literally have thousands of possessions every year, go get your shots up! The stars don't have to align to take a shot. That's why I like Morman and Cobb. They'll go out there and let it rip.

we all know reasons why they scared shoot

I don't. Please educate me oh wise one......

you geniuses already got all answers. you take a shot with 17sec left on clock your coming out immediately, coach want players that have iq high enough to pass ball back and forth around perimeter then shoot contested horse 3pointer

Haha. Thank you for that. Excellent analysis.

"I don't think it's rocket science. We haven't been playing well," Cronin said. "We beat SMU and I think we took our foot off the gas, for whatever reason. Our guys have got to find their desire again. You've got to play with heart and fortitude. Whatever happened after that (SMU) game, to me, we've been a different basketball team since that game."

Even coach don't know whats wrong? That's crazy

Cronin will yank a guy for not hustling, bad turnovers, or bad defense. He NEVER yanks a guy for taking a shot. Never. Not sure where that idea comes from. He basically admitted that he gives all his players green lights to shoot.

Not sure if you guys listen to Mike + Mike, but they had Legler on today and he was talking about the necessary balance between having the right amount of guys who want/need the ball in their hands on the floor at any given time. It made me think of our team of solid role players and how maybe they actually need a guy who dominates the ball like Cobb more than most.

Troy needs to be that guy, whether he's at the 2 or at point. He needs to take over when the shot clock is running down and the offense is going nowhere. I really wish he was as aggressive as Cobb can be at times.

Cobb has his moments that make me nervous. He dribbles it for a long time at the top of the key, burning up lots of clock per trip, and I'm not sure if this is by design or if he just takes a long time to size up the situation.

Considering every UC offense since Cronin has been here has consisted of wasting the first 20 seconds of the shot clock, I'd say it's by design.

We all want that, but there aren't a lot of 19 year old sophomore's that do that sort of thing. Well I don't even know how many 19 year old sophomore's there are, freshman seem to be 20 these days.

I know, I always come back to him only being 19. But it's his second year in the program and in college. If he can't do it by now, maybe it's just not in him to. I hope not

Correct. Caupain is younger than both freshman that came in. Moore and Clark are both already 20 years old.

This is just silly. There are tons of players that didn't do it their 2nd year but were doing it by their Sr year.

You think the kid should go from a team with 3 old seniors leading the way and then just take it over himself without issue? That's nonsense.

Even guys like SK took back seats in their younger days. It isn't Troy's fault the upperclassmen on this roster don't step up in any way.

at 19 you would think your a little more aggressive than you would be at 21-22. TC doesn't lack talent he lacks a something your either got or don't no matter age. Will to win no matter what. It isn't in his DNA to dominate and be the guy. He might make it pro but he'll never have that dog in him.
