It's crazy! Big week to have a top 25 win for the cats, this is the break we've been needing. A serious jump could be in store for us Monday. Hard to say how far teams will slide or rise with how many losses there has been. But we won and that's all that matters. This should be a minimum 4 spot jump this week, who knows maybe 7-8, just depends.

assuming So Dl win, for sure we jump Creighton, probably 2 loss ND, Duke, not sure...really hoping Wake would hang on, but maybe....I don't think Butler drops below us...X will be out of top 25...Louisville loss may make it close. I could see the Cats anywhere from 14 to 17.

17 losses from AP 25

Villanova 1
Kansas 1
Kentucky 2
Florida St 2
UCLA 1
UNC 1
Oregon 1
Butler 1
Virginia 1
Notre Dame 2
Creighton 1
Duke 1
Purdue 1
Xavier 1
Total 17

This has been unprecedented week of upsets.
Consider
Duke escaping NC St
WV escaping Texas AM
Wisconsin escaping Rutgers
It could have been twenty.

Let's pray Brooks is okay didn't look good.

Brooks was in the postgame handshake line walking and just needed ice they said on 700.

They will most definitely jump duke.

They will most definitely jump duke.

We definitely jump Notre Dame
Oregon & Butler lost to 10 loss teams that's bad. Wouldn't surprise me if we pass both of them.
Florida St lost twice to unranked teams convincingly. They are ranked #8 in USA Today we may pass them in that poll.

The top 5 is obvious
1) Gonzaga
2) Baylor
3) Kansas
4) Villanova
5) Arizona

Go ahead and try to do the top 25 from #6 to #25 an you will find the problem the voters will have. They will have to weed through the carnage of the week. We will stand out with a top 25 win on national tv. I feel good about tomorrow's poll. Great news on Brooks he is really starting to develop!

Kansas/Villanova I think could go either way. But seriously this jump for the cats could be huge. 3 is the very least, but 7-8 is not out of the question with everything that happened this week.

This is the perfect storm. Some voters will just push the reset button. Remember the voting is distributed throughout the country you don't see all the voter bias although I do think coaches in the coaches poll will lean towards their conference.

Here is my ballot for the Reddit poll I vote in every week.

All these teams losing makes it incredibly hard to really move you too far for losing. I tried to reward the teams who won but also didn't lose sight that just BC UK and FSU lost 2 in a row, doesn't mean they should drop from the polls.

I did enjoy bouncing X from the polls for the first time all season.

How can you have WVU for from 18 to 8 but us 19 to 14 lol.

Like I vote completely with out bias every week.

UC had a better week then most teams, but why would we jump so high off beating a 6 loss Xavier team and a horrible south Florida team.

It's a hard week to vote in. So many losses makes you want to get carried away with some teams but right now West Virginia week was much better than ours.

I had WV at #7. I did think Texas AM was a bad win they almost lost especially at home, but Kansas win was impressive.

Here is how the week 13 Reddit poll looks:

We are at 14.. The reddit poll is always fairly close to the AP

Will be interesting to see what happens with Butler, FSU, and Oregon. It looks like we have a significant poll lead on Butler and FSU...we are right behind Oregon on this one.

I can't see us below 16 or above 13. Will the voters give us credit for playing well recently and adjust for our slow climb before that or just keep inching us up the ladder?
