Well it's bed time. One last question didn't anyone see me at half court I got a standing ovation about Two time outs into the second half. Got to shake hands with the Bearcat and be introduced to crowd.

Awesome Waite! I just wish we could've got the win...but either way, a night to remember!

Those are big IFs. When you let good D1 players get wide open looks they generally make them. Once they get in rythm it's even harder to stop. Xavier got wide open looks.

Sanders and Johnson do get left open all the time. They get hot 1-3 times a year?

And I'm not saying Davis did a good job, just that he shouldn't be expected to do a good job because he's not a HC. I expect him to be much worse at in game adjustments than Mick, it sucks for us, but I think it's to be expected.

The 2 corner ones to Myles Davis were bad. No doubt about that. They'll let Dee Davis, Farr and Macura have open shots all day. Most of the time it will work out. They just happened to be hot tonight.

(I mean freaking Dee shot 18% in conference play. 18!!! Sanders, and Johnson get left open from 3 all the time too. They don't ever go 5-5 though.)

True.

9 points 6 rebounds 4 assist 2 steals and what did Cobb do? Seriously you're your own worst enemy.

before last 2 free throws he had 7pts that you don't remember. I don't care what Cobb did what he has to do with Caupain. They play on same team. Compare Caupain with x guards is what you do in basketball.

Thanks Jacob it was exciting. Very nice crowd and Terry Nelson came up to me and shook my hand. I won't to tell him I renember him guaranteeing a blow out in a shoot out he played in. Cats won that one by 18.

I completely agree with all of this. When they showed they could hit the shots, then you switch. But lets not act like we saw those guys drilling all those 3 days in advance. That is silly. We might have feared it because xavier always seems to get hot on us, but do you think other teams fear Johnson, Sanders and Morman getting hot from 3 on us?

I'm saying 3 days in advance we were talking about bailing on the zone at the first hint of serious trouble. Go back and read if you'd like. My very first post in the thread said don't go zone. Zone works against teams like us, not teams like them.

I'll ban myself if you numbers geeks tell me over/under when Cobb and Caupain was on court. Whenever Cobb was in game we controlled it easily no matter if he hit shots or not. Caupain struggles playing with kj because he doesn't like running point. Kj got hank for bad shots because neither or tc wanted penetrate.

Well expected or not, when he doesn't do a good job it gets pointed out. And he should be expected to do a pretty decent job, that's why he is there. But frankly, it's just as much on his assistants as they need to point a lot of this stuff out to him. A lot of times a coach can get too caught up in the moment to notices things like this or if a guy has been on the bench for a while.

TC was 3-5 all the other guards were 4-16 combined including Cobb who shot 3-11.

Cobb needs to start finding consistency, but he kept UC in the game with big shots. Of course he also missed a huge one. He had one bad shot that game. He stretches the defense in ways that no one else on the team does. Him and Caupain NEED to start together, and if I see KJ starting again I might puke.

Let's bench Sanders and KJ and see how Caupain does with guys that aren't holding him back. Again, if we're going to discuss our major issues, anything involving Caupain is way down the list.

I agree with you TC and Cobb should start and Mormon needs more minutes than KJ at this point.

Cobb didn't hit a lot of shots but his aggressiveness got second chance points.
