Obekpa will be on campus Wed-Fri. and at the Louisville game. Do up the big heads, chant his name, anything to get this guy on our team. UConn has faded due to the situation there. We are competing against Providence and Oregon.

a chant would be great but i doubt more than a handful of the students at the game actually have any clue he will be there.

I'm so upset I can't make this game, I'll be on the left coast on business. Somebody please start an Obekpa chant and coordinate it with all the students. How awesome would that make a high school kid feel? Can you imagine? Make him want to sign before he leaves town. Show him who has the best fans and wants him to be a part of their "family". We are counting on all you folks sitting in the student section, make it happen! The gauntlet has been laid folks.

Jack, I couldn't agree more. Being a guy who spent 20 years in military. I believe in taking one hurdle at a time. I understand the big picture is making the dance. That said, in my mind finishing top 4 in BE accomplishes that goal. You can forget about OOS and bad losses if we are top 4.. We win out and we have a double bye in BE and a nice seed for NCAA. Winning 2 of 4 or 3 of 4 is not acceptable. All these games are winnable. Marq. and Uof L are at the shoe. To be a great team you must win at home. The Vill and USF games are against teams we have better personnel than. I want 4 W's heading into the BE. Winning those four games gets us the seed and exposure we have been looking for. As a fan I am not afraid to seek high expectations. My expectation is we win out and I'll be disappointed if we don't..

FYI, saw Obekpa with Mick, Savino, and his mentor (or coach, parent? Not sure) on campus this morning. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything but he was decked out in UC gear, and he is definitely is a tall kid. Hopefully we put on a good show for him tonight.

I agree that we can win all 4 as well. I think most people are referring to the 2-2 or 3-1 scenarios to point out that all hope isn't lost in the event we lose one. After Seton Hall blew out Georgetown, it seems like anything in this league can happen.

Most importantly, thank you for your service to our country.

I second this, especially the bolded part.

Bearcat22 and Jason Thanks for your comments. I enjoyed every minute of my service.

As for the cats I perfer to look on the positive side of things. I'll worry about if we lose when and if we lose. Right now I want all 3 games we have left in win column.

There were just some speculative reports that he told people last night that he said he was coming to cincy. Nothing official as of this morning.....

That would great news. Could not have been a better game to have recruits onsite for.

Just watching on TV you could tell the place was going insane. A primetime game like that on ESPN might open some eyes of some potential recruiting prospects.

I can't remember a game with that kind of atmosphere in a long, long time. It was difficult at times to hear the announcers on tv because they had to basically shout over the crowd noise. I would have loved to see the noise meter maxed out at the Shoe!

I wish I would've DVR'd the game to listen to the crowd. That was the liveliest I've seen the Shoe in awhile. The students absolutely brought it last night and the upperdeck was very lively, which almost never happens. Some sections in the upper deck stood the last four minutes. Even Pitino made comments as to how great a home crowd we were. The "Cincy hates you!!" chants to Behanon were awesome from the students.
