'14 NJ C Quadri Moore (Commit)

Doesnt fit at all. Visit got cancelled, other teams backing off, brutal summer performance, I'm not sure he even still has an offer from the UC staff. Might be way off on this one but I'm still very convinced he ends up at Seton Hall. How hard is it to confirm your source? Well done Zags.

Exactly, something isn't adding up. I don't think this is even a case of someone jumping the gun. Seems like Moore's camp wants Cincinnati more than the staff wants him....

Chad confirmed the commitment via twitter. Looks like it's official.

Assuming this is true (and no reason to think it is not at this point), I like the pick up for UC. Mick now has 2 scholarships left and my guess is he will go after 1 more big (Clark or Grantham) and then pocket the last one for the spring. I could be wrong but I see Clark and Grantham as a one or the other and not both.

Interesting that he committed before even visiting. I see him kind of like Jeremiah Davis III, both were ranked very high as underclassmen but kind of struggled to live up to that hype.

I would love Grantham and Clark, but just 1 of those two + another JUCO or an under the radar recruit would be great.

I wonder if Clark didn't give Mick a warm fuzzy and Moore was just waiting to see whether or not Clark would commit on his visit. If Clark commits Moore goes to SHU? If Clark doesn't commit Moore goes to UC?

Wow. Happy to be proved wrong on this one. UC needs the front court help and despite the under performing summer, the talent is there to be a really good player for the Cats. Just need to start putting the pieces together. Im cautiously optimistic this is a done deal but the way this went down still has me a little suspicious until he actually signs.

Different types of players. UC would take Gary in a heartbeat regardless of Quadri. Is their number 1 target.

lol. looks like zags sources were right.way before our ppl knew it.

maybe ppl will stop taking the word as gospel from a so call insider who was wrong...

The reports are he is more comfortable on the perimeter. He is a big that can step out and draw defenders.should leave plenty of driving opportunities for our guards. Of course if he developers a inside post game I wouldn't complain about it, lol

Not jack but Clark and Grantham. Don't see this impacting those two at all. Grantham can play the 3/4 and gives you versatility. Absolutely take both if they want to commit.

Actually Chad did it the right way. Got double confirmation from Quadri's people as well as UC. It's not about being first it's about being right. Zags has been wrong a lot of times in the past for simply not confirming the original information.

Oh I think we would take Clark too...but maybe we wouldn't have taken Moore if Clark had committed on his visit? IDK just curious that this commitment came so soon after the visit

Jack how do you see the rest of the class shaping up. Assuming this is true where do we go from here?

I think Clark is the next domino to fall. How that affects Grantham Im not sure. I like having versatile forwards who can score. We will see how good that combo can be with Lawrence and Shaq on the floor at the same time. So at this time I really think Gary will be a bearcat and Im just guessing on this one but I think they would still take Grantham as well. We all know Mick is always good for a spring surprise. Exciting times in Bearcat land.

No, he is much more of wing player. He spends a lot of time hanging out on the perimeter.

That's what I thought I remember hearing. Thanks. It'll be nice to have a big that can step out and hit a shot in the high-post like Gardner though. If it wasn't for him camping out at the foul line I'm not sure Marquette cracks 30 against the Cuse in the Elite 8.
