..and then judging them for it and questioning their work ethic. SMH

You should re-read. Didn't question his work ethic, just said he needs to be working hard and getting better. Didn't say he couldn't or wouldn't.

If he really was tweeting about leaving, he needs to go talk to his coach. Cause I'm sure both in that equation aren't very happy.

unless we get two Jucos for back up

That's been a point I have been making. Getting a wing should be our top priority. The speculation on JJ makes it all the more apparent. If one guy twists an ankle and someone else is in foul trouble...suddenly we have a very difficult situation.

We have 5 bigs so we have back up even if they aren't the greatest options. We could also potentially run with one big in the game and 4 perimeter guys essentially giving us 6 options.

Running with 4 perimeter guys would be a lot more effective than running with 3 bigs on the court.

I replied to him and it is what it sounds like. It looks like he is on the fence as to whether he is staying or not. I think he should stay. With conditioning and a improved shot he could be a poor man Steve Logan. He shows so much potential as a distributor we just haven't put him in a position to use his skills

I would love to know why he told this person one thing and someone else something entirely different??

Only Bearcattalk can create such drama and misinformation.

Good work, gents.

In all seriousness, with broome coming in i'm surprise the whole team isn't ready to transfer out. Guy could see minutes at all 5 spots. #superballa

22. Cincinnati Bearcats
There are teams whose characteristics carry over, regardless of personnel, year after year. Cincinnati is one of those teams. Mick Cronin's groups always rebound, defend and play with a punishing physical edge. The last time Cincy finished outside the top 25 in adjusted defensive efficiency was 2009-10. Offensive execution is a different story. Which is why having finishers like Troy Caupain and Gary Clark on the rolls is so important; the other stuff will take care of itself.

I agree but it always seems to be an issue/excuse. I hope its different.

The only legitimate "excuse" to fall out of the Top 25 this year would be an injury to Troy, Gary or Evans. You only need a rotation of 7 or 8 players to win a lot of games. This team has that. You need a good PG, wing scorer, and inside presence to win. This team has that. In my opinion, only injuries could derail that. A lot of that is luck. I would like to be deeper this year but that isn't a reason for this team to not consistently be in the Top 25 and earn a top 6 seed in the NCAA Tourney.
