Only need 2 out of 75

You can still do that if you sign Noulowe. 2 year backup project. No downside imo. We had Nyarsuk on the team as the 8th or 9th man on scholarship. We've had Moore play during the most crucial times as a FR and SO. We have room for those kind of guys, I'm not going to complain if this guy is #11 and wants to bust his ass to everyday. If it doesn't work out, he was only a 2 year situation anyway.

couldn't agree more. Staff has been trying to add depth since season ended. Obviously they feel there is a need.

MY guess is they need to have someone who can guard the 5 and has mobility for defense. Moore and Brooks may be a little too slow. Scott is too small

Scott should be 230 now. We dont face to many fast mobile C. Clark can play the 5 at worst. Do we need 3 career back up bigs(kevin, moore and scott)? If he was a legit 6'10 rim protector sign him up. Not 6'8 undersized 5

The only problem with the logic there Jake is he's taking up a scholarship that could be used on a more talented, more ready prospect in 2017. Understandably, we don't really know if Mick can get that caliber of guy on a consistent basis, but aren't we kind of passed taking chances on project JuCo guys?

Apparently we aren't past it if we are currently in this situation for 2016

Gary is 6'8 235 per bearcats site, and after 2 years Quadri is a poor defensive player and rebounder.

the reality is this if we can better our roster by signing a grad transfer, a JUCO or a 4 year player I'm all for it. Looking at the future has its place but reality in college sports today is kids transfer, injuries occur, kids leave early. No one is promised tomorrow. If I'm Mick I'm all in every year.

College has been like this for decades nothing changed really. Media coverage of transfers is only thing that has changed. We cut ace mcghee for d johnson. Mcghee went on to become all American

Here's an interesting article on players transferring

- "That said, about 40% of all MBB players who enter Division I directly out of high school depart their initial school by the end of their sophomore year."

- "We tracked the 596 MBB student-athletes listed on ESPN’s 2015 transfer list to determine their destination for 2015-16. Of the 528 who actually changed schools, only 44% transferred to another Division I school (most of those to a less competitive program where playing time might increase), while many ended up at Division II, NAIA or 2-year colleges"

Thats goes for kids not playing sports also. We talking bout 17-19 yr old kids. Millions of reasons goes into kids leaving school. Its get even crazier on DII, juco and naia level with transfers

So jarron cumberland is not an elite prospect then? We get good players, just not in bulk

We seem to get 1 really good player per year. Holding 2-3 schollies for "premier talent" for a subsequent year makes no sense unless or until you prove you can land 3 in one year

Off top of my head no other top schools sit directly in middle of major city but UC and GT. That factor alone should help big time with recruiting. All the blue blood programs might have top facilities so they say but none of them offer the bright city lights in college. 2017 recruits and going forward we need start selling more than a weight room and locker rooms. Sell the entire city stop selling ourselves short
