It says if he transfers from one AAC school to another he will lose a year of eligibility. Does that not apply since he is enrolled in JUCO now?

pretty sure that's standard - a year of eligibility is a year of your 5 year clock, not a year of competition.

I believe I heard somewhere even if you have a redshirt available you would still lose a year.

i don't think we're talking about the same thing. a redshirt is merely skipping a year of competition. you'd still be subject to the 5 year eligibility clock.

so, if player x redshirts his 1st year, he still has 4 competition years but would then only have 4 years on his eligibility clock as well (barring some sort of 6th year injury waiver type thing).

if you have to sit out for transferring, you are losing a year of eligibility regardless. like, washington couldn't redshirt next year and play again the year after because his clock would have run out.

Yes. He is currently at a JUCO here in Texas. He will enroll at SMU in the summer and become eligible in December of this year.

BTW, great win last night.

Ill say this after watching this West Virginia offense.

I'll take Mick's new motion offense over whatever the hell offensive Bob Huggins is running.

ITs the same thing we ran last year.. Basically no one moves unless you have the ball.

ND loses we pass them.

Wisconsin looks terrible (lose pass then)

FSU losing playing like crap. Lose we should pass them but probably won't.

UNC getting waxed by unranked Miami (but early)

Today was a huge upset day for sure. West Virginia was fortunate to escape with a win as well, after having a double-digit lead late.

College kids, man. They stay up too late or break up with their girlfriend or something, and crazy stuff happens.

Memphis struggling big time with ECU right now. Tubby's ship is listing, they really need to win this one.

Wow the upsets keep coming!
Butler loses to 10 loss Georgetown
Oregon losing to 10 loss Colorado

If Wisconsin & West Virginia would have lost we would be sitting just outside of the top ten with win tomorrow.
As it stands I think we move up to between #12 to #14
Crazy weekend!

I say we move to #16

We've made a sloth like climb to 19 so I would expect that to continue.

#17 wouldn't surprise me either.

I'd say move to 16 as well. Was hoping Wisconsin would lose their game and I think we would of made the top 15.

16 seems about right. With all the losses we should be a lot closer to certain teams above us. Keep winning and we might keep moving up 3 spots at a time. A lot of tough P5 games this time of year. More will be getting knocked off in coming weeks.

We will be better than #16. Don't know where we end up but the top 25 just got massacred. This is the perfect storm for us in the rankings. Winning and playing well on national tv against a quality opponent will factor in. If you could drop
this win anywhere on our schedule to help our rankings this week would be the week. We do need Xavier to play well today that will help.
