Xavier gets bailed out late against St. John's. Blueitt got a BS foul under the rim with a minute left in a tie game. He basically just jumped in the air and fell, not even a St Johns guy in the vicinity. Of course made both FTs and that was all she wrote.

Mullins should give it up. Worst coach in the country

Xavier is so effing lucky it makes me sick. Once again, the Big East is over hyped again imo. X has had easily 4-5 games now where they should have lost. A couple of them were at home to shit schools. Their numbers may be good but no way are they the 6th best team. But with how their schedule is set up, they are going to end up with a freaking protected seed. Makes me sick.

What makes me sick is how lucky those bumbs from the University of Kentucky are. If the refs are not in there side it's amazing. Shows how much ESPN and college basketball desperately wants it to win and they don't care how much in front of national TV they call against the other team. Every time it drive to basket they pushed off with there off hand. Then they get a foul with 2 seconds left to tie game and put into ot. Vandy had there to best free throw shooter missed 3 out of 4 to ice it. The whole game was how awesome ky is from the commentators. I have never watched a more lucky team, never seen the refs so blatantly allow the bull shit. I feel terrible for vandy. Then I read ky is a supposable 3 seed with us. Does anyone else not see through the bull shit. That team unless helped in the tournament by the refs will get beat quickly. One of most overrated teams I have ever watched in my whole entire life. Insane.... If there a three seed no doubt we will have a great seed, if wait a minute this fair NCAA will send us out west with a five or lower.

Vandy should have won just by hitting free throws

They should of, but how much more lucky can you get. Every time anyone in Kentucky drive they basically stiff armed the vandy defender. I can't stand Kentucky basketball. Watch them waltz in tournament with a high seed, they will play locally and are the most overrated team I have ever laid eyes on. There in trouble if they don't get the benefit if the doubt and the luckiest bounces ever in existence.

It looked like Kanter pushed blueitt out of the way and they called it on st. John's.

They may be lucky but they are a damn good team. Cant really talk crap aboit thier schedule since they played a tough ooc schedule and have played 14 top 100 teams and won 11 of them.thier worst loss is providence who is 37 on realtimerpi.the other 2 were to #1 nova @ nova and AX st in a tourney when they made their run to 1 or 2 in the country. We have played 10 and lost 2 with 1 being to them.X will most likely lose 1 to butler or Creighton with a definite loss coming to nova so we could jump them in the next 2 weeks.

I can and will most certainly talk crap. The BE isn't as good as people make it out to be, year after year. Yes, top 3-4 is good but after that is a wash. Just like majority of conferences. X has been bailed out at least 2x in home games against cupcakes. Nova has a player out with a broken hand? So I am sure X will win that game with some help to home cooking.

It gets old seeing the constant whining about X when they have been the better team for the past 15-20 years. The Big East is head and shoulders above the AAC. This conference has us and WSU. No one else is any good. SMU lost a 2 players so they will fall out of the tourney talk when they start dropping games. If Houston loses both to us and another game with whats left on their schedule they will be NIT bound. UCF lost fall for the year. This is a 2 bid league while the big East is a 5-7 bid league. 7 teams in the top 50 rpi. We have 4 with Houston right at 49. This league will be garbage until uconn, temple and memphis get back to playing good ball.

Go over to the X board and D ride them over there. I'll gladly continue my bashing of them. Byeee Felicia.

You think anyone that says anything positive about X or another team is a fan of that team. Most people can see which teams are actually good and not just hate on a team becuase they are a rival.

Not really...I think Xavier is overrated, along with the BE as a whole. That's my opinion. Obviously, you have yours. So now what...lol. Life goes on. You're the one whining about people "whining" when it's just a difference of an opinion.

I don't think trashing our conference is all that helpful especially when some key injuries have really sucked the life out. UCF was going to be a contender with Fall and Taylor. SMU just took one on the chin. Uconn has been very unfortunate even if they have a bad coach.

I think we need to be healthy as a conference to battle for #5 or #6 overall conference ranking...but I think we are far from trash. We have some decent coaches in the league. We are not the Big East...but we had a legit shot to compete with the PAC and BIG this year.

It's a solid conference with the addition of WSU but we have been bitten a few times overall. I am sure other teams have been bitten as well...but we need to remain healthy for us to have a very good conference season.

The big East really understands the RPI and how to game it. They schedule tough enough opponents to win but still look good beating them as a whole from top to bottom. It overweights their OOC which in turn makes every conference game seem tough because they all (well most) start the conference slate rated top 100. Therefore they get game after game of top 100 competition and it makes their overall SOS high. It's frustrating to see because the RPI is flawed, but they absolutely play it the right way and are rewarded for it. We don't and our conference doesn't. Until we do we'll continue to be a 2-3 bid league.

The Big East is ranked 4th in RPI but 3rd in Kenpom. Our conference is pretty close to the Big Ten in RPI, but WAY behind them in Kenpom. We're barely above the Mountain West in Kenpom. If anything, our conference is much better at the RPI game than the Big East.
