Doing some quick RPI comparison's using CBS's tool. Cincinnati is head and shoulders above all teams currently in the first 4 out and next 4 out. The 3 top 25 RPI wins alone, puts Cincinnati in good position. It is all about avoiding bad losses.

Dead on in my opinion.

#11 seed per espn playing providence with unc in the second round, and #9 seed per cbs playing osu with Gonzaga as the 1 in the second round. I like both matchups

Is it weird that I'd prefer a 10 or 11 seed over playing in the 8/9 game? Yeah, the first game is a touch easier, but I'd rather have a shot at a run than a better chance to win the first game.

No, it is not weird.

Odds of advancing to Sweet 16:
8 seed: 8.64%
9 seed: 3.78%
10 seed: 18.00%
11 seed: 11.52%

I dont think it is weird at all. Is it weird that if we do get an 8/9 I want it to be in Kentucky's region? With a team full of guys coming back, it'd be a great experience imo to play one of the better teams in the history of the sport.

Down to a 51 RPI with an SOS of 57 after a dominating win. I hate this league.

Up to 43 in KenPom though. Anyone know if the committee uses KenPom, or is that just kind of a made up/fun thing?

UC would be lucky to be sniffing the NIT in the old Big East so there are some good things that come with being in this league.

Maybe, but our OOC SOS wouldn't have been so tough. In years past, all our tough games were in the Big East. I think put us in the old Big East with a 100+ OOC SOS and you're looking at around the same record.

Joe is nowhere near elite in seedings. Cincy has 4 top 50 wins and can get a 5th against Tulsa, if we do that, I say the worst we can do is in the tournament, not in the last 4.

if we get 2 wins counting the conference tournament we are still on the bubble, if we get 3 we are in.
