even if he stays at the 4 which I think would be best because of his ability to rebound and his shot blocking abilities, that doesn't mean he cant develop into a mid range shooter. I mean heck, Kaminsky can light up the gym from 3 but he's still a center.

Same explosion he showed this year in the open court and blocking shots. Never really had it with his back to the basket. That block late it the UK game was all kinds of explosive...

Yeah there were times this year where his athleticism really showed. Without a doubt. I'm excited to see him transfer that explosiveness into the half court. Right now it seems we only really witness it in transition. And what makes him succeed in the half court is just his all around basketball skills.

if Lawrence didn't transfer either him or Clark were going to play the 3. You don't have to shoot the 3 just to play the 3. IF works on handles and jumper HARD this summer I think he goes pro after JR year

I sure hope not, but if he has achieved that much the next two years at Cincinnati , more power to him!

Gary Clark Ultimate High School Mixtape: 6'8" MONSTER as Underrated as T...: https://youtu.be/tp572ypYCpU

it's over 100 highlights of Clark. He ONLY posted up TWICE. Took his man off dribble to basket from PERIMETER over 30x.

In the open court on 95% of those. Maybe 3 times in the half court. It's a highlight tape built to generate clicks so BallIsLife can make MONEY. Half court post ups don't generate clicks and that is simply a fact.

We saw plenty of the same this year, but it isn't quite as easy to physically overwhelm high major D1 players in the open court as a 6-7 power forward.

If you think those clips were of him playing the three, you know a lot less about basketball than I already thought...

I love Gary's game so much that I passed his name along to the coaching staff the very first time I saw him as a sophomore with only ECU recruiting him. He was never a 3, and will never be a 3. Let that terrible evaluation go. It's horrible in every way...

I think he'll start at the 4 in every game of his career here. But like some of us have said, that doesn't mean he can't expand his game. He is way too good at rebounding and in the post to not be a 4 in college.

He needs to expand his game to be better as a 4. That is totally different than him ever playing the 3, which he won't...

Exactly. Bulldog, if you watch highlight videos of Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, Anthony Davis, and countless other PF/C from the past few years, it's the same thing. Those guys are out leading the break, showing their athleticism, so much so that it might seem like they were playing the 3, but really the videos are only trying to show how athletic they are. I mean let's be honest, who watches a high school highlight tape and wants to see fundamentals in the half court. People want to see dunks and blocks out in transition, anything that shows their athleticism.

I don,t care what position he plays just glad we have him ... and hope he has 3-4 younger siblings that want to be bearcats

I remember seeing a local news story with him. I believe he has a brother who is way younger than him. It talked about Gary wanting to be a role model for him.

NOBODY said he played 3 in high school. He's going to make his money at the 3/4 in NBA similar game to millsap

I know what goes on in videos. Its over 30 plays in video of clark starting out on perimeter then attacking. Moore has a lot of post moves in his videos

Clark needs to hit work on midrange, would love to see him learn to use the backboard like Timmay, learn to elevate more on his jump hooks in the post, and learn at least one more post move to counter when he can't spin and bank.

I highly doubt all that happens in one summer, but those should be the goals from a skills standpoint.
